The food took forever to come out. It lacked flavor and my order was wrong. I didn’t even attempt to correct them because I didn’t want to wait longer. The sauce was good and the atmosphere was decent.

I love, love, love this restaurant! The food is excellent! Every item I have ordered from here has been delicious, the chicken, fish, rice, all of it is outstanding. The servers are the best! The restaurant is clean, cozy and has a community serving vibe. Though somewhat small, it still can accommodate both individuals and groups easily. When you are in downtown New Haven, it is very much worth a visit.

Small restaurant that packs flavorful dishes and drinks! Very friendly staff that is very attentive as well, which is very hard to find these days. I almost got the home-y feeling from the staff, the restaurant and the food. Food portions were very big and worth every bit of it!

came here with a big group and it was *wonderful*! the food was delicious, especially the yuca, and they have a great range of really good & interesting cocktails (especially the pisco), peruvian beer as well — and a highlight was the people working; our server was warm, sweet, attentive and fun, their recommendations were great. would definitely come back.
