This location has had a few different restaurants over the years. We went for a small family reception for my daughter’s wedding. The atmosphere is and always has been beautiful, especially by the water. They put us in a darker corner of the room far from the windows. The menu doesn’t have a large variety but it’s decent. My son got the Orange Salmon which costs $34.95, the salmon taste really fishy with minimal taste. We got the filet mignon with red sauce and penne. Who would ruin a nice filet mignon with a simple pasta and sauce. The filet mignon was tuff and chewy so I gotta question if it was really that cut of steak. I ordered Calamari and Zucchini. I got around 6 rings and 4 legs with fried Zucchini which was overcooked and any veggies overcooked takes all the nutrients out! The prices are very high for low quality food. I’ve been in this industry 36 years now, and I’mAlways fair. If you like to have a cocktail and some cocktail shrimp for Happy Hour, this place is good.

The service was bad, the communication between cooks and waiters is bad, our table was 7 people, they took our order as they wanted, we ordered roasted potatoes and they gave us asparagus without asking if they could bring them, the asparagus was overcooked, one of the dishes we ordered was salmon and since they brought us the other dishes the waiter came out saying that the salmon looked bad that's why they didn't prepare it if that's the case the kitchen manager should report that and not offer the salmon we decided to change it for a fish fillet And they took it 30 minutes later since we had all finished eating, I think they should have better communication between the cooks and waiters, not good at all for a bill of 800 dollars.

I recently dined at Il Gabbiano, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my time there and experience was nothing short of excellent.What impressed me the most, however, was the impeccable customer service I received from Jamie the manager. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to accommodate any special requests. They made me feel like a valued guest, and I truly appreciated their genuine care and professionalism. My coworkers and myself now come to Il Gabbiano every Thursday to enjoy the food and drinks and have a good time.Overall, my experience at here has been nothing short of extraordinary. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining/drinks experience. From the delicious food to the outstanding customer service, this restaurant has it all.

Really enjoyed the restaurant. Great service from our server Mark. Made sure everything ordered was to our liking. Very good portions and food was very good. We went with the two fish specials, stuffed salmon and Swordfish. Would recommend this restaurant to others.

Went there for a date night. Waste of time, money, night out and baby sitter. We had reservations (which they had) but they didn't have a table so they put one together in middle of room carrying chairs over other patrons heads. could barely pull chairs away from table to sit down was so tight. Unbelievably loud. Charcuterie board looked like a child picked and put it together ($27). Ordered drinks that didn't come. Had about 5 five different waiters come to our table. Food was was not fresh but frozen with then Steamed vegetables and Bland. Some of the dishes and side pairing don't make sense. Either way it's just food you would scoop out of a tin at a "catered" work party or cheap wedding. ( I cannot speak about the seafood. since we had chicken and Pasta dishes) So perhaps things are turned around for that. The older Couple (owners?) that were running around whole restaurant seemed annoyed people were there. We're only concerned about pouring wine in people's glasses at large tables and the Older gentleman argued with a table that had issues with there services. Would not go again and would talk people out of going and wasting an evening.

We had an absolute wonderful time. The food was outstanding and our server was pleasant and helpful. After w fantastic dinner we decided to have a few drinks outside on the deck. We were there to celebrate two birthdays and they really made it special sing happy birthday. Highly recommend! They will not disappoint.

It's been awhile since I've been to a good restaurant and Il Gabbiano was a sleeper. From the time we were seated , we felt like royalty , the impeccable service, attentiveness of the wait staff , and the management that never skips a beat . Then the food ....we had the Valentine's special 3 course prix fixe and boy were we in for a treat. Starting with their caprese and prosciutto ,fresh cut heirloom tomatoes layered with really fresh mozzarella ,some roasted red and yellow peppers kalamata olives and a generous portion of fresh thinly sliced prosciutto drizzled with really good olive oil delicious!! Main course was of course served in A Timely fashion after we finished our appetizers . The waitress(sherryl) timed it perfectly after our dishes were cleared arriving hot , very well presented and surprisingly large.we had the John dory sea bass which was perfectly cooked, flaky, moist with a light lemon white wine sauce that was not overpowering the fish,and served with fresh nicely seasoned wilted spinach...the chicken cordon bleu was a surprise...pan gently fried lightly floured chicken breast which was not rolled up but layered with fresh mozzarella and prosciutto topped with brandy truffle cream sauce...man it was delicious ....compliments to the chef!!!! (I rarely praise )Your cooking and flavors reminds me of my days on the line. Barely finished the meal it was so large had to take it to go........but we're not done .....the dessert.....we both had the home made tiramisu....again surprised , it was delicious ,mascarpone cheese the espresso soaked lady fingers , fresh whipped cream ....it all came together very nicely in a delightfully decadent not too sweet perfection. This was a really good experience for us and a very happy Valentine's .thank you again for the meals it's been awhile since we've been to a restaurant that served well made food that didn't make me think "I can do better " .thank you again wait staff for being so attentive and genuinely happy .Bravo Il Gabbiano !!!!!

I was very excited to come here because everyone I know was raving about it. However I ended up being very disappointed. The appetizer was good however my dinner was horrible. The entire thing tasted like dish soap, went home with all the food pictured and threw it out. Was very very disappointed in my meal. Won’t go back due to this
