I live down the street and I can’t believe it has taken me this long to try out this little gem. Part of this is because of the so-so reviews. Upon further inspection, a lot of the negative reviews were because the shop only accepts cash and they are so busy it can seem like the service is curt when calling to place an order. When we called, the person taking the order was efficient and we had no trouble. Plus, when we picked everything up, the food we ordered was delicious...
Love it so much. Food is amazing...My father Joseph said he's been going here for 32 years so I had to check it out. Be respectful. The place is real busy. Wait your turn. Nobody forgot about you...it's just that busy. Come with someone so someone can get out and get the food. Parking is not the greatest
We’ ve been going here since my kids were younger I will say 20 something years! I never had any complaints about their food. Very busy place since they’re closed to Yale New Haven Hospital but they manage to serve your food fresh all the time and no more than 20 minutes wait. Best Lobster sauce combination, with Tostones! Crab Rangoon with sauce! Chicken General Tso or sesame seed orange chicken. Lunch or Dinner
