The waitress barely acknowledged us the entire time. It took a little over an hour for the entree to arrive. No communication in the meantime. My wine glass smelled like a dirty well. I had asked for another glass of it. The bill was given with the to-go containers and the table clean up person took it. No one ever said bye or thank you. It was not busy, AT ALL lots of reservation slots were available for the night FYI. It was very cold in there; I will not be returning, not even for drinks based on smell of my glass. I ain't got time.

The overall experience was good. They don't rush you out. The food was really good as all 4 in our party were very pleased. The one thing I thought was the portion was small compared to the price. This goes for all food that we ordered. I'd check the menu before making your decision to go.

No hostess, waited 15 minutes before anyone assisted us. The restaurant was extremely loud and very dark. Once seated, we waited another 15 minutes then decided to leave since no-one came to the table to acknowledge us . The prices were exorbitantly high. Do not recommend.

Took over an hour to get our food. When we got it, it was really dry. Just overall a bad experience

Entertained friends/clients, steak lovers, food and service perfect, lighting perfect for a steakhouse too. We will return, great evening. Thanks.

We ordered a 12 once filet mignon to share with my wife and I. What we got looked much less than 12 onces. We discussed this with the restaurant and they assured us it was 12 onces. So we felt gyped on the quantity, not the quality.

Great Quality food, atmosphere and service. Definitely one of our most favorite restaurant in New Haven. Vladi is a great host.

Our table was ready when we arrived for our reservation, which was great. Food and Service were outstanding! The ambiance was nothing special (we were seated at a high top near the bar, but still nice. The meals are a bit pricy. The place apparently turns into a club at about 9:30 as they suddenly cranked up very loud music right by our table. Fortunately, we were just about to pay and leave. Overall, we enjoyed it and will likely go back again.

Stopped in for brunch and was thoroughly impressed. The service was amazing, and the food was delicious.

They have a full bar which offers a wide selection of cocktails. Their menu ranges from seafood, to steak, to classic brunch favorites.

For appetizers, my table started with the oysters, calamari, and the wings. The wings were perfectly crispy and flavorful. Our entrees consisted of seafood pasta, as well as brunch favorites like the chicken and waffle, loaded omelette, and crab cake eggs Benedict. We all enjoyed our meal. We concluded with chocolate mousse for dessert. I recommend for your next brunch experience.

Juinior was my bartender-- everything was incredible. I ordered what I think might be the best espresso martini I've ever had my first time with him. Came back to celebrate an anniversary-- the bottle of champagne we ordered was served before we even noticed, and the oysters were absolutely incredible. All of the staff were more than lovely, and while I can't recommend all of them enough, Junior was definitely a highlight. If you stop in, be sure to grab a drink with him at the bar before you leave!

Restaurant was dirty. They didn’t have any filet. The new your strip was terrible. Way over priced. Very upsetting to spend 150$ on 2 terrible stakes

Well worth the price.

Yes it costs an arm and a leg, but it delivered. As someone who eats a lot of steak, both ordering it out and teaching myself to cook it via several fancy cooking methods, I know when a steak stands above.

This does.

I was weary about this place given some of the more recent reviews and the price tag, but ended up taking a chance and I'm glad I did.

Table bread was HOT and I was sure they had just nuked it in a microwave when I first saw it given the steam coming off it, alas, I was wrong. Fresh as can be.

We started off with crab cakes for an appetizer and they were absolutely delicious. Moist, flavorful and a texture that was on point.

My Bourbon smash was delicious and easy to drink. My wife gave no complaints about her Shirley Temple.

Entrees took a minute, but that's how fresh food works. My 32oz ribeye steak was a thicc boy, but cooked perfectly. The maillard reaction on the crust was spot on, the garlic butter added a great splash of flavor and the chimichurri on the side was fresh and delicious. The cook on the steak was also, just as I requested. Hats off to the chef as achieving such a goal on a steak this thick is a challenge and a half.

My wife ordered the duck special with raspberry sauce. Not something we typically have in the house but it was great!

By the time we were done there was NO room for dessert but we were very happy we had followed through to dine here and will hopefully again the next time there is a special occasion.

Things that confused me:
- The roses on every table that are VERY cheap and clearly fake. Like... Look like they came from the dollar store.
- the menu doesn't list quite a few items I've seen pictures of and after noticing a GrubHub delivery driver, I looked up the GrubHub page and those items are listed... But are not on their dine in menu.
- the bathrooms have no door handles, just cut out holes where one should be. Hot air dryers don't work and don't seem to want to be repaired given the paper towels placed above them.
- the book that should contain the beer/wine/spirits/liquor list by the table was completely empty.
