After trying to go here forever we finally showed up when it was open, the gentleman behind the counter was extremely friendly and the hot dogs were delicious. We got chili dog and a Chicago dog. We will def be visiting this place again!!

I got the giant red hot with chili and cheese which was excellent! As I went to the men's room to wash up I noticed a poster that I had seen a long time ago and it turns out this is the same Jakes that was in New Haven when I was in college! Visited here many times back then and it hasn't changed. Same great food!

Jake's Diggity Dogs is GREAT! If you haven't been here before, check them out! They have a LOT of toppings & different mustards and the dogs are foot-long. The food is fresh & made to order, so even if you order one of their specialty dogs, feel free to add or remove whatever you like or don't. You can take-out or eat in. They have 2 or 3 tables outside, as well. The owner is VERY nice and welcoming. There's plenty of parking, however, it is not wheelchair accessible. There are 1 or 2 steps. PLEASE don't waste your money at Mr. Mac's canteen! The place is NOWHERE NEAR the quality of their parent restaurant (Merritt Canteen).

Here on a Saturday at 5. Place clearly says on all sites and on the door it’s open until 7. People already waiting outside confused. We all wait for 20 minutes before giving up. No sign, window open, lights on, music playing. Would never fly in NY, why is this ok in CT?

The older gentleman behind the counter whipped up 2 footlong dogs with chili and cheese for me and let me say it was very delicious even the bun was toasted to perfection it definitely will be my go to place for a good dog from now on!

The owner could not have been nicer and the food was plentiful and delicious. I had a cheeseburger and small fry. It was so much food that I took half of it home for later. I have had the hot dogs there before and they were delicious too. I highly recommend going there for good food and good company!

I have never heard of a Seattle Dog. But OMG it is tasty!! Jake's Diggity Dogs offers this luscious version on a perfectly grilled roll with cream cheese and bacon, with a perfectly cooked hot dog. This among many delicious variety of combinations of toppings, you can't go wrong. When visiting downtown Milford, don't overlook Jake's!!
