I personally took the trip 45 minutes away to get the oxtails from this place but last Friday I went there and I ordered my usual but I got the Rasta pasta I added shrimp omg I ate it the next day it still was fantastic I recommend everyone who lives here to eat there and plus there friendly.

Love the atmosphere, the ladies at the counter are extremely nice, and I love the Reggae music playing in the backyard. However, the food is very ordinary and the prices are outrageous for some of their items. I mean, $27 for a large oxtail lunch special??? Bombaclaat!!!!

The food is delicious. Had pretty much everything in the menu. The Rasta pasta (I had the lobster) is the best I’ve had around and the cowfoot suit was hearty. Love they don’t cook with pork. A must try!!

I love there food ? Always hot, the portion is great, and most of all the customer service is amazing!!! It’s always a good chat while waiting for my food!!! I promise you you won’t be disappointed!
Again, a visit was convenient and a far cry from my first ever during covid when both the clerk and owner were rude and misinformed about their display soda fridge (right up front). Scared of covid spread, and ignorance to the way viruses exist or don't on refrigerated item surfaces, they forced me to buy a drink that I had just touched in order to see the sugar content as a diabetic. This time, the register clerk was not only nice and hospitable but also gave us tips to pick drinks that matched our meals.Parking: Limited sidewalk parking.

Was visiting friends ..drove up from New London and decided to try some jamaican food .. nice location ,but no parking ..we had to park few minutes walking distance by the Diner restaurant. Was greeted well, customer service was superb. Interior space nicely decorated..the place was empty..decided to order Oxtails, & my better half Jerk Chicken.. quite pricey if you ask me though.. $35.00 for Oxtails..three of them just bones no meet..guess it was luck the draw..don't mind paying the price , but the rice should've been fresh..didn't fancy it bit , thought it was bland.. Aside from that , I still left a hefty tip..supporting local diverse spots..wish them well.. -Sam

OK first of all, it says a taste of the real thing on their sign. That’s the first lie. Their oxtails were chewy and flavorless an embarrassment to true Jamaican cuisine. They were tough as rubber in the portion was insulting for the price they were charging $30 for a medium plate. I also had a chicken patty with no chicken in it. They will not be open for long. They are a true rip off in a poor representation of Caribbean food.
