Food does not match the pictures. Very expensive for what it is. You ask for what they have on the pictures but they don't tell you is each so you going to be paying $30 for 2 steak skewers. They don't have prices listed and total ripoff. The plates they have listed there don't come with everything they show.

Was so upset asked for pork pinchos and when I got them meat was pink when I said something they said it was tenderloin it was literally one long piece of meat and didn’t even taste right I ordered fried pork and it wasn’t normal carne frita either I’ve been looking forward to coming here and left so disappointed ended up spending $30 and had to throw all the food away only things that were gd were the soursop juice and the oiña colada

Had the beef & cheese empanada and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, hot and filled with meat. The chicken was white meat and was very tender and flavorful. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area.

On our drive back from JFK to Boston stopped by New Haven’s food trucks and we randomly picked this truck that offers Puerto Rican food. Very kind and sweet couple run this truck. The food pictures are on the truck and the owner is happy to explain everything patiently...you can customize your food as you please. The food is obviously prepared on site so takes a little time but food is fresh and tasty. We tried the chicken, steak and the Empanadas and everything was delicious!! We also tried the passion fruit drink and the Piña colada and a bonus tasty Tamarindo drink! Loved everything .. we would have been stopping by often if we were locals ! Highly recommend.

Customer service was excellent. Food was okay. White rice: a little dry, almost as of it was done days prior, not fresh in our opinion. Habichuelas: good flavor fresh. Chuleta: was okay but it had a very strong pork smell/taste. Would've also liked to try the yellow rice instead of white rice but it was not available. The food truck itself looks very clean and modern. We went on a Thursday so the wait was not long.

Tried this place for the first time and man do I want more soon!! It was amazing, the Churrasco and fried plantains were phenomenal and so were the beans and rice. Certainly great Puerto Rican food!

Got a chicken pincho/skewer and a pork pincho/skewer, and the lobster empanada after reading other reviews. $15 total. The sauce on the pinchos was awesome. Kind of like bbq sauce. Empanada was pretty good. The man taking orders was very friendly. I felt bad because they were so busy but the wait for two skewers and an empanada shouldn’t have been an hour at 3pm on a Sunday. I was disappointed the wait was so long when my husband got food from another food truck in less than ten minutes.Response to owner: Thank you so much for your response. I did notice that you squeezed our order in eventually and appreciate that. The food was incredibly fresh and hot when we received it. We will be back.
