Mom and pop vibes with a European flare. Everything I’ve had is top quality ingredients and flavors and reasonable priced and delicious. Veggie quiche, lattes, killer rich hot chocolate less sweet qnd thick! (And gelato!) Large space to meet friends and chill vibes to study. Reminds me of the no nonsense atmosphere of many European cafes counters who focus on food not fancy walls of fake grass with neon signs saying ”live love laugh” the owners are lovely and authentic.
In a fair world all the kids obsessed with image and wasting $$$ on terrible products at MOTW or Arwas just to take pictures of the decor or carry the ”right” cup with the ”right” logo to class would find this large quiet space with exceptional products and no branding on their cups and support them instead. Alas I think a place with stellar product competing against social contagion is the challenge of our times.

The old man is always rude when i come in. I get the sense that he does not like me, and would prefer i go elsewhere. But no! That would be letting him off the hook too easy. Do you understand me, old man, if you are reading this? I am going to keep coming and keep patronizing your store. You will continue to fill my cup. You will continue to grovel before me. I felt very uncomfortable in their cafe. I said hello with a smile twice and was greeted without words, but a mean mug from the man. Very unwelcoming my friends felt it too, but they at least got a hello back. The lady was on her phone barely looking up. Anyway, whilst he was getting a hot cocoa ready he was staring at me through the mirror with disgust on his face. I stared back and after a few seconds he looked away with a deep frown.

One of the best cafés in the area, without a doubt. The coffee is truly excellent — easily one of the few places in the region where the quality really stands out. The cookies are great, and the focaccia is outstanding, always fresh and very well made. The gelato deserves special mention: the best in the area. It’s authentic, traditional Italian-style gelato. Anyone who knows real gelato understands that true gelato is not displayed in tall, flashy piles in the window — here, quality comes before appearance. A place that delivers flavor, authenticity, and always makes you want to come back.
