Delicious kosher food. Vibe was great, lovely owners, and the prices very reasonable. Special shout out for their delicious chicken gumbo!

Super cute place with delicious kosher food! We had a great time. Service was quick, friendly, and efficient. Everything was great, but we highly recommend the pulled beef- perfection. The store has a small-town feel, and the owners took the time to tell us about the neighborhood and the history behind each dish.

My daughter just got married on June 29. I’m very very disappointed it was horrible!!! All my guest complain did not give water in the table. Was not enough food! I do not recommend them!! I feel like they took advantage of my unexperienced, daughter and son-in-law!!

Food was delicious! Burgers/sandwiches/corn riblets/empanadas.
Came out quickly- and very tasty. Owner was lovely. Prices were great - much lower than the NJ/NY prices we are used to. Highly recommend if you are in the New Haven area.

We didn't even know it was a jewish/kosher place when we stopped in, until we saw some of the other customers. We weren't sure it was the place for us but left happy. The 2 of us shared our plates: The burger was very good & much fresher than a lot of other places. The hot & sweet chicken sandwich w/ candied jalapenos was excellent. The french fries could maybe have used a little more salt but that's just my preference; they were nicely crispy on the outside & I really liked the garlic mayo that came w/ them (Husband stuck with the ketchup). The service was prompt & friendly. No complaints about that at all. Restaurant prices are all crazy high nowadays. So I'd have to say their prices were reasonable for high-end sandwiches. It's a nice, homey p[lace. I'd recommend it even if you're not a jew.

My wife had the Gumbo & I had the Bourbon Pulled Beef. Both were delicious.
Definitely worth leaving CT-15 when travelling.

I used to work here, and since I've worked in different places. I can attest that they put the most effort into the dining experience than many of the other places I've worked and dined. 5 stars. 100% would recommend this place. Always a great time!

Kid-friendliness: Excellent environment for kids. Very accommodating

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp up towards the door.
