The food was really good and well priced and service was excellent! We had the samosas and garlic cheese naan for starters, my friend ordered two vegetarian dishes and I had the Dhaba wala kadai chicken made spicy. It was so good, especially with the naan! Will definitely return.

I had the pleasure of dining at Lazeez Indian Restaurant last week, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish! We sampled several dishes, including Lagan ka Murgh, Jhingha Manchurian, Chicken Biryani, and the standout Hyderabadi Keema Parantha, which was perfectly spiced and delicious. While the Drums of Heaven were a bit undercooked with a raw spice taste, the servers were incredibly accommodating and handled it promptly. A special mention goes to the chai-spiced Old Fashioned drink—it was incredible! The perfect blend of warm chai flavors with the classic cocktail made it an absolute delight. Lazeez is definitely worth a visit for both the food and drinks!

It was not at all upto mark. The spice level was so high. Noodles and fried rice was not properly cooked. The person on duty didn't even reduce the amount on the bill.

The guy followed outside and was asking for forceful tips saying he works for tips, so don't they get paid their wage or what? Why would he wanna literally follow outside and asking for tips? If i wanted to pay i would have added it already so if i didn't add there would have been something not right. Next time make sure not to follow customers outside store to ask for tips. Never ordering here no more. If you didn't add 20% gratuity i would have tipped but since it was already added i chose not to. But this was too much coming out and saying he works for tips.
The food was lukewarm, and they didn’t even bring me any napkins or utensils, so I didn’t leave a tip because of that and I left the store and the worker went outside and stop me to inform that I didn’t leave a tip, and was asking why I didn’t leave tips

Lazeez, new haven is definitely one of my favorite restaurants. I have been visiting this place for two years now. I tried every dish from the menu and hands down there is no single dish that I don’t wanna try again. This place feels so cozy, lively, and elegant that makes us stay lil longer. While it's not the cheapest option, the quality and portion sizes made it worth every penny. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel well taken care of throughout our meal. So honestly I highly recommend this beautiful place for anyone looking for delicious food and great service in Connecticut.
