Had dinner here last night. The service was great and the food tasted delicious but the portions are really small for the price. My son order tikka masala and there were 5 small chunks of chicken for over $20! My biryani was also very tasty but it was hard to find the chicken in it, so it was mostly rice. Not sure it’s really worth the money.

Excellent food, cozy atmosphere, friendly and very attentive staff. They care about their business and their food, and you can tell. Highly recommend this restaurant. Ordered tikka masala and tandoori chicken with naan. The tandoori chicken was exceptional, good spices and a nice heat to it.

I think this place needs to be a thing for everyone to have a yummy-full foods of the Indian cuisine. The food tastes good you get to have a spice choice to your taste buds which can actually change your mind about the Indian food being sweeter ( especially for the south Asians )Service is great ✅Food is great ✅View from the table of the streets are great ✅
My friends and I had the pleasure of having dinner here on a chilly Friday evening. Our appetizers were the Avocado Bhel Puri, Paneer Tikka Sliders, and Chilli Chicken, all of which were super flavorful and delicious. For entree, we ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala with their mouth watering garlic naan. The wait staff and ambiance were also delightful and I will definitely come back here again! @aqeeltoberia
If you are finding it hard to find good Indian food you have to try Lazeez Indian Cuisine in New Haven. The food is outstanding. Chicken tikka kebab and garlic nan were delicious. The restaurant is warm and cozy and the staff are exceptional!!! Don't hesitate to try this gem of a restaurant for the BEST Indian food around!

What a delight! Delicately prepared Indian fare simmered in aromatic sauces. Each dish has a unique flavor enhanced by natural ingredients. For example, in the chicken korma, you get the flavor of ground cashew that is just delectable. The ambiance is casual chic and even though the dining room is not huge, we got a sense of privacy. The service is prompt and friendly. The servers wanted to make sure we were happy with our food and checked in with us repeatedly. The dishes were cleared the second we were done and the leftovers packed. While dining there, I noticed a lot of people coming in for takeout, so that's another popular option for customers. There's plenty of free street parking and a lot across the street that's free after hours and on weekends. I always worry about parking when dining in New Haven, so that's reassuring, I hope you get a chance to try Lazeez; you'll be glad you did!

Possibly the best Indian food I've had in the area! Excellent service and bar too. Loved each of the dishes we tried!

For $18-22/entree, the portions are too small. Half of what you get at other comparable Indian restaurants. Even the naan offerings are small too.
Loved their food and service.
