New York cheese cake was overpriced and very bland. One of the worst I have had. Cannolis were good.

We waited in line and were expecting some amazing pastries but sadly were disappointed. Quality of desserts here is not good and very basic. Would not recommend at all.

Libby's is a true staple in New Haven. It's within feet of some of the best pizza places in this country. You can always finish your pizza off with a nice cannoli or lobster tail from Libby's. Their prices are a little high but you're paying for the quality. It's never a disappointment!

Best Italian ice you’ll find. The flavors are all phenomenal. They are the original.

Classic Italian pastry shop right next door to Pepe's. Makes for an amazing combo carbo-blow-out lunch. The sfogliatelle was hot from the oven...omg.

Stopped in after having lunch at Pepe's, rather crowded and loud. Placed my order, the staff seemed decent enough but no enthusiasm for customer service at all. Ordered carrot cake and American coffee. The carrot cake had a "mass produced" taste quality to it and was just okay the coffee was tasty though. If you're coming out of Sally's or Pepe's and want dessert Libby's will do in a pinch.

3/2/24 - You have children working for you who have no manners! All 6 kids behind the counter demonstrate poor customer services and sanitary skills. This girl blew her nose while taking our order, and then immediately handled our pastries without washing her hands. ?Going to Libbys was the highlight of our day and totally got snotted on.My mother ended our day with “Don’t every take me back to Libby’s” ?

Got some cookies from Libby's and was hoping for just the green leaves dipped in chocolate. Instead they had green leaves but with jam inside. Although they were good, they didn't have what I was looking for ultimately. They lacked my favorite cookies so I found an alternative. Service was slow but the workers were very kind. Quaint place with good treats. Not sure I'll be back unless I'm in the area. 3/5.

If you're looking for dessert after a New Haven pizza or a sweet anytime, Libby's Italian Pastry Shop is a place to stop. A wide selection of different flavored cannolis, ices, and classic cookies, my favorite is their chocolate Florentine lace cookie. All absolutely scrumptious! Order a cappuccino or latte to go along with it!

Thought this would be a nice place to grab desert after dinner. I walked in, was not greeted and had to basically wave my hands for them to come to the counter. When they finally came over, I asked some questions and they were rude teenagers who work here, did not end up ordering anything. Do not recommend.

A great treat for a Friday. Who knew you could get Italian ice all year round? Well now I know where to get summer in a cup all year round. A scoop of Blue Raspberry, Watermelon and Lemon. Awesome!!! The Lemon was freezer burned but the staff made it right by replacing it with more Watermelon. The inside reservations so cute you can sit inside and in the warmer weather you can sit outside. Guess what ? They will see me soon. Go have some summer in a cup. Enjoy!!
