You come here, you let them do it their way. They’ve been doing it for over 100 years so there is nothing to do but trust that the burger is going to blow your mind with its simplicity but also how delicious it is. The staff loves to make quick and witty jokes. Just go in with respect to an establishment who does it their own way and ONLY their way. If you can do that you’ll have an unforgettable memory and you’ll be able to join a club of many people before you.
Historic, very cute, tiny burger joint. Burgers on white toast, only medium rare and only possible additions are cheese, tomato and onion. Chips or potato salad extra. No fries. No ketchup, mustard, pickle, etc.
The restaurant is tiny but it’s always packed when I go. You can only get 🧀 🍅 and/or 🧅 on the burgers. A must if you’re in the area- it’s the birthplace of the hamburger sandwich and oldest hamburger restaurant in the U.S. 🍔
