Stay FAR away from this place.. after placing an order online & driving 40 minutes to go pick up what I thought was going to a really great meal I get there & there are these tax lien signs on the building, & it’s clearly closed/shut down. The online orders said they were open & I even got a time to pick up my order by.. I’ve called 2-3 times, with absolutely NO response. They made sure to say they’d be closed 5/4 but no other updates so I stupidly assumed they’d be open. Everyone needs to stay far away from this unprofessional, unorganized ‘restaurant’ I wonder how many other people this has happened to due to the business owner’s complete disregard for the community in which she serves.

The food was absolutely amazing. It was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The service was a little slow due to call outs but the taste of the food made up for the service.

We finally made it to Ma’s & yes they stand up to their reputation!! Chopped bar-b-que, Mac & cheese, cornbread, cabbage, pasta rasta with shrimp, yams! Everything was absolutely delectable!! Professional, friendly, attentive staff! Warm cozy, mellow atmosphere! Clean, roomy. Totally impressed. New hangout🥳

Today we tried Ma’s house and were very disappointed. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the woah chicken and waffles. The woah chicken was just dipped in franks red hot sauce which made it he waffle soggy. The home fries and eggs that came with the meal were good and well seasoned. I think they should turn the music down a bit. It is overwhelming. Overall wouldn’t recommend

Super cute place in New Haven CT. Feels like home. With home cooking.Owen and I ordered pulled pork platter, We both got the sweet potato casserole. I personally got the collard greens and he got the mashed potatoes.No complaints from either of usDash got the chicken and waffles . They looked so amazing they also had fresh strawberriesAgain no complaintsIf I ever get back down to New Haven I would definitely from the ground revisit here.

I ordered the BBQ chicken soul bowl..it wasn't as good or as plentiful as before. I've ordered this bowl 4 times in the last 6 months. I only had two sweet potatoes in it, a spoon of greens and the Mac and cheese wasn't as good. I will order again ! Today maybe was just an off day. ?

believe me guys don't even think that will be a good place for breakfast. They give a cold food, they take like two hours to bring your foot, they give you missing food. It was my first and last time to go there, I don't wanna anyone to have the same experience.
