LOVE Mew Haven! It’s cozy, clean, and the staff always knows each cat’s personality so well. My boyfriend and I went for their Valentine’s special and had such a fun time. Their café drinks are also so delicious—definitely a must try! I’ve been here a few times now, and even with an hour commute from where I live, it’s still my favorite spot. Always worth the trip and perfect for cat enthusiasts. Can’t wait for my next visit! 🐾💕

Amazing and adorable cats! We picked the earliest time slot and had an amazing time - even ended up extending because we had such a great time and experience. The only downside we had, not the Cafés fault, were families that let their rambunctious children loose in the Cafe and were incredibly aggressive with the cats which caused many of them to be agitated or hide away from everyone. Other than that, an amazing time and will definitely be going back when we come back to explore New Haven

Idk - i wasn't super impressed going there today. A number of the cats were sick with upper respiratory and/or eye infections. Which made consuming my drink that I got upfront unappealing.

Had a good time at the sound bath. There was a cat fight on my mat, Sheldon helped me with the toilet paper in the bathroom and then asked for uppies. Chowder was very rude and complained about everything. Total Karen. The cats are well cared for and there’s at least a dozen to watch you pee.

Had a great time! The food and drinks were awesome and the cats were sooooo sweet. The staff were super welcoming and knowledgeable about the kitties as well. Definitely on the list to go back to!

If you are a wheelchair user, you should be aware the building is not really wheelchair accessible. The office where you have to check in is up one step with no ramp at all, so you will have to call them or have someone able to go in to check in for you. The room with the cats is also down multiple steps with no permanent ramp. They stated they would bring out a portable wheelchair ramp for me, but they never did and I ended up just dragging my chair down the stairs so I wouldn't miss my reservation time for friends birthday gathering inside. When I got inside I noticed furniture in front of the doors and stairs where they would have needed to put the ramp down for me to get inside safely. Once I was inside everything was on one floor and the bathroom was spacious and accessible. The cats were really cute and fun to hang out with, but ultimately it just was not a very good experience for me as a wheelchair user and I would not recommend this place to other wheelchair users unless you are prepared to advocate for yourself or have extra help getting in and out.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Yoga with Cats at Mew Haven. It was such a fun time to be able to do something that you love and share it with so many cats, to make it 100% times more enjoyable experience. The yoga instructor made the class enjoyable and fun. The socialization time with the cats after class was amazing. We loved interacting with the kitties. The time we spent at Mew Haven was absolutely wonderful!

Love the mission. Very well run. Also, I love that there are no age restrictions for visitors. Each child needs an adult to supervise them but this cafe believes in allowing humans of all ages to interact with feline friends!

What a cute little space! So many beautiful cats up for adoption. You can tell they are well taken care of. The Soundbath was well done and so relaxing. Julia was amazing. It was cute to see the cats interacting with everyone, especially Julia when she was playing the bowls. I hope Mew Haven continues this fun experience!

The place was clean and had the right amount of cats so there wasn't a lot of fighting. On the wall, they have the name and information on each cat, including where they like to be pet. It was helpful to have that for when they approached us. I'm still missing Fred. I hope he gets adopted soon!
