Been looking for great sushi/Japanese restaurant in Connecticut for three years. NONE until today. Miso's fish is delivered fresh Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Highest quality at reasonable prices. Try once; you will be a regular thereafter, as we plan to be.

Delicious! Family members were driving through CT, so we decided to lunch at Miso. Great service, great menu, delicious food! We all left with full bellies. Street parking was available, which was nice. Check this awesome restaurant out. You will not be disappointed.

Booked a table for 12 people. When we arrived, waiting staff were surprised that we wanted a table for 12, as though they had forgotten our booking.The food was mediocre. Portion sizes were tiny and prices were high.The atmosphere was not enjoyable. The wait staff were miserable (perhaps underpaid?), and unhappy that we wanted to split the bill between 3 cards and reluctantly accepted two cards between 12 of us!For the price and quality/quantity of food I would definitely chose a different resteraunt next time!

Very good food and friendly service. I found this place somewhat randomly and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Having lived in NYC for many years, I am usually disappointed by sushi restaurants in CT, which are either lame suburban versions or way too pricey, but this place makes the cut. We will definitely go back.

One of our favorite sushi restaurants in the Northeast, we've been coming here since 2004. If you order enough sushi they will serve it on a big boat (especially fun with kids). Order the Sex on the Beach roll as it is fantastic!

The Seafood Soup is out of this world. It really TASTES like Seafood. lol. The host who greeted me was very kind and polite. The portion was less than a filler-upper but it’s okay cause the quality and flavor was out of this world.I recommend if you like Good Food! I also got the miso rice. Which is supposed to come with scallops, mushrooms & shrimp. Only had shrimp in it & he gave some pushback to add scallops. lol. They added 2. No mushrooms though.Then he said “You got the smaller portion.” Which has nothing to do with the fact there were no mushrooms or scallops in it but it’s alright. I got over it.Food was good. Might come back.
It's time at this location - parking was easy and food was delicious. Try the handroll and the crispy rice app. We will be back.

Went with another couple and sat at table in front window, where it was quiet and provided a view of the entire restaurant. Appetizers and sushi were outstanding. The lava cake was amazing. Service was superb. We used to regulars but hadn't been since the pandemic. One of the finest dining experiences in New Haven!
