We sat at the bar and really enjoyed the very fresh and flavorful food; we chose the negamaki, salad, king crab roll, and salmon in a citrus dressing, along with a half bottle of sake. Everything was delicious! Will definitely return.
Great food with nice ambience, was perfect for meetup with old friends. There was a bit of a delay with sushi dishes, but no biggie. Would recommend.
Miso was a great find. The food was absolutely delicious - one of my top places in New Haven. The miso soup is delicious and the salad with the ginger dressing was an absolute favorite. My husband's sushi and my roll were the best. Once we raved about the meal, they brought out a roll that was not on the menu. We will go back again and just ask them to feed us - convinced whatever they give us will be delicious. In addition, they are very friendly. The owner spent quite a bit of time chatting about how the fish is shipped and explaining all the homemade sauces. EXCELLENT!!
The quality is amazing! I highly recommend the S.O.T.B roll. Awesome place.

The place is larger than it appears from the outside. The floor isn't tiled and looks dirty.
The staff is friendly 👍🏻
sushi is really well-made 👍🏻
However, the prices on the outside menu seem outdated compared to those on the table. 👎🏻
the location is too dark 👎🏻
Prices are slightly higher than average but not by much.
I recommended it.

One of the few places in downtown New Haven that has a lunch menu so props for that. Surprisingly quiet for a Friday lunch! Sushi plate with miso soup ($20) really hit the spot. Thanks!

I went around 1pm on Wednesday. It was completely empty & quiet. I order one roll to go, i was expecting it to be mediocre but it was actually good. But honestly I don’t see myself going back but because the atmosphere.

I went to Miso for dinner tonight with some friends and was very impressed! The sushi was excellent quality for the price point. Standouts were the Agedashi tofu, the New Haven roll, and the Crispy Rice appetizer. The cocktails were very affordable compared to other restaurants in the area. Additionally, the waiter brought our rolls out on a sushi boat, which was a fun surprise for the table. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun dinner that won’t break the bank!

Spacious and great atmosphere for dinner date. Drinks were well served, no light taste. Had “Fountain of Youth” made of gin and lemon. Loved the flavor and taste, def recommend. The Sumai was fresh and flavorful. The sushi was fresh. Also different types of fish selections

Eric and June always goes above and beyond to make me feel welcome. If you’re looking for great sushi and a place that feels like a second home, Miso is the spot!
