10/10 highly recommend. I’ve lived in New Haven for a while and just learned about Munchies, got the chopped cheese and lo pan. One of the best sandwiches i’ve had in a long time.

Munchies is a quintessential dinner spot in our house. Whenever we are craving a comforting and filling Sammy we go to Munchies. The quality of food and the amazing flavors make all their food delicious! The cheese fries are insane! The quality of cheese and flavors stand out with every bite. Not to mention the rolls are FRESH AND HUGE! I appreciate that Munchies takes care and puts love into all their foods. A New Haven staple!!!!!<3

The Canadian Tux is the best sub of MY LIFE. I’ve been meaning to write this review for months but was so overwhelmed by how good this place is, didn’t know where to start. I went 3 times in 2 weeks to eat here and brought new friends each time, who all agreed these subs are unbeatable. One of my friends usually doesn’t eat bacon and so ordered a different sub, but when the canadian tux came out (has bacon jam) - he had to try a bite… and then a second one. The people who work here are also very kind, excellent service. Tucked away on the corner, feels like you’ve stumbled across a hole in the wall, and the quality is just out of this world.

I've been a customer prior to the current brick & mortar location. There's currently two menu options one vegetarian and one vegan. If you call or order in person, they can do any number of substitutions. I think in fact, I am partially responsible for the veg chopped cheese as I would special order that all the time and now it's a standard menu item. I would recommend always ordering directly vs food delivery apps if you require any customization or substitutions.

I'm not a big sandwich guy, and yet these are some of the best damn sandwiches I've had in New England. The Lo Pan and Shogun are my go-to orders from here, but I'm sure the rest are also great. Also the caveman fries are such a simple idea but so good in execution!
