If you ever went to Anastasia's Boat House back in the day on the water in fair haven, these are the same people. The food was always good. Unfortunately instead of the quinnipiac river, it's a view of walmart on foxon Blvd. The food is still good, as well as the service. The prices are reasonable. There's a backroom for dining that has rock and roll mannequin figures that can be a little creepy. There's plenty of parking.

Kid-friendliness: Kids, parents, and grandparents. They have a great atmosphere, including Elvis, and Blues Brothers statues!!! 2 rooms to eat. One of which can be used for a shower, etc. Nice place. Check it out.

I visited this place for the first time to try their soup of the day. Before purchasing, I specifically asked about the ingredients and was told it contained only macaroni and beans. However, upon bringing it home, I discovered it contained pork.
When I called to address the issue, the staff member seemed unconcerned and assumed I should have known that all their soups contain pork. As someone who cannot consume pork for religious reasons, I found this response dismissive and unhelpful. Despite the miscommunication on their part, they refused to offer any form of exchange or store credit.
I was disappointed not only by the misinformation but also by the lack of customer service in handling a valid concern. Transparency about ingredients is essential, especially for customers with dietary restrictions.

I asked for a burger well done and once I bit into it, it was still bright pink inside like only the outside was done. I asked for it to be well done because I am pregnant and cannot have anything other than well done. I ended up throwing it up because not only was it less than medium rare but it was cold. So I’d say it was done at all.

The door isn't locked. It's just super heavy. Other than that.. Fkn awesome. The wait staff (Cisco) totally made it even more worth it. Great menu. Great portion sizes.

Disappointing Experience at Nikki and Frankie's*
I recently visited Nikki and Frankie's on Foxon Boulevard in New Haven, Connecticut, at exactly 7:28 p.m. and was thoroughly disappointed with the service. Unfortunately, the staff's rudeness and poor attitude overshadowed any potential enjoyment of my visit.
Specifically, the girl at the cash register displayed a consistently negative demeanor, making me feel unwelcome from the moment I realized the door was locked. I tapped the window to see if I should go to the other door and she waved her hand for us to go away like dogs with a discus look on her face. Her attitude was unprofessional and uninviting. Even as I yelled through the window to ask if they were closed. Being that it was only 7:28 and the signs says 9-9. This cashier and a older woman who sat at a corner table just sat there and steered at us as if they was looking through the window and me smh
The rest of the staff didn't fare much better, seeming disinterested in providing quality service . As a customer, I expect a basic level of courtesy and respect, which was sadly lacking.
While I had hoped to enjoy my experience at Nikki and Frankie's, the poor service left a sour taste. Until they address these issues, I would caution others to think twice before visiting.

Went for dinner, there were 5 of us. everyone's dinner was outstanding. I had the Caprese Salad with blackened shrimp. It was delicious cooked to perfection! Even had enough left over for lunch the next day!!! Service was excellent. Had fun taking pictures with the statues! A hidden gem!!
