I always get delivery from here whenever I’m in Hamden…really the only positive of being in Hamden. I’m hoping to try the patties one day. Massive amount of food for the cost.
This was easily my favorite restaurant in New Haven. As someone who doesn't like tofu, the jerk tofu was so flavorful and one of the only tofus I could tolerate. The people are always so nice, and the prices are more than fair for the amount of food you receive! I absolutely loved the food at this place. I got the rice and peas, plantains, and jerk tofu. I shared curry chickpeas with my sister. The food was so incredibly flavorful and I just felt like the chef put a lot of love in it. Can't wait to come back again.
