I was at Olympian diner in New Haven on El Grasso Boulevard on Sunday, September 28 around 9:45 AM. I went in. I sat down at the counter. The waiter that was at the register did not greet me at all. It was another family that came in and they actually sat down at a table. She went directly over to them and got their order before even proceeding to ask me what did I wanna order? I got another waiter attention. She took my order nicely So when my order was getting ready to be done, the rude waiter came back up to me and asking what did I order? I did not wanna deal with her or speak with her so then I got my waiter attention and I asked her would she be able to bag my food because I did not want that waitress touching my food at all The food is good but the service and some of the waiters are bad are disgusting Then another customer came in to do a takeout order. She said she called about five times and she kept getting hung up on so she was a little bit frustrated. She’s a little bit aggravated the owner or the Supervisor Took with the other, Customer said and flipped it around into his own story and then he got mad at her and started fussing her out and he was Very unprofessional with a young lady

First time there I have went to the flea market a couple of times but never knew this place was next door but I'm so glade we found it

I was confused why my meal was different recently so I went back this weekend and figured out they stopped automatically adding the onions to the home fries they added no problem and that was definitely this missing factor staff still friendly just make sure to bring cash for tip as they now accept cards but dont have ability to add tip 🙂

I've eaten fish and grits in a many of Cities in my journey. My son told me and my wife, and Mother about this special place in the Elm City. Portions. Great. Seasoning. Bang Bang. 5x for myself and whatever their doing. Working. 44444. Sure. Thank you. Condiments. Presentation. Cleanliness of the dishes.

Great little place. Owner knows all the customers. Ordered a lunch burrito for breakfast $14. Coffee was $1.89. Definitely will come again.
Ever since my first visit which was over 10 years ago, the service food atmosphere remains the same amazing place to eat comfortably a reasonable price awesome customer service.

Wow! This unsuspecting little hole in the wall restaurant packed a huge flavor punch on generous helping of grits. The fish breading was great, shrimp were large, not overcooked and well seasoned. When they ask you about sides - house potatoes, house potatoes is the correct answer. The sweet plantains were something I plan to get again and again. Kudos to the cook! Not 5 stars just because the bathrooms need a lot of love.
