Food was great love going here to get breakfast, but they’re too young ladies that we’re working didn’t ask if we needed extra. Coffee didn’t ask if everything was OK. I was disappointed that I didn’t get better service. I understand that as close to closing time, but you have paying customers and you should treat them accordingly.

Went in and we were the only white people there. Waitress was unfriendly and took 10 minutes to come to our table. We ordered. Everyone that came in AFTER us got their food as we sat waiting. By the time we got our food other tables were done and we waited 55 minutes to get our food in the place was already cleared out. Waitress never came and asked if everything as ok and another just continually stared at us with no expression on her face. Talk about uncomfortable. Never again. RACISM is alive and well in this establishment. If you're white, don't go there.

I love olympia diner. So today I gave 4 stars for service and hope the lovely professional lady that is normally there see this because I come here all the time for the past 20 years and never had bad service or food. today I called 6 times because on work days I call get my food and go to work and no one answered but since I left early I decided to stop and see if they were open anyway. I get in there the damn girl act like she knows no English when I asked if phone was broke then tells me she busy. I said how is she busy when it was literally 3 people in there. 2 at a table and the one sitting at counter who had nerve to tell me she by herself and she busy, mean while they are talking laughing so he must of been her friend. I was so angry. It's not her business or money so she didn't care.

I was at Olympian diner in New Haven on El Grasso Boulevard on Sunday, September 28 around 9:45 AM. I went in. I sat down at the counter. The waiter that was at the register did not greet me at all. It was another family that came in and they actually sat down at a table. She went directly over to them and got their order before even proceeding to ask me what did I wanna order? I got another waiter attention. She took my order nicely So when my order was getting ready to be done, the rude waiter came back up to me and asking what did I order? I did not wanna deal with her or speak with her so then I got my waiter attention and I asked her would she be able to bag my food because I did not want that waitress touching my food at all The food is good but the service and some of the waiters are bad are disgusting Then another customer came in to do a takeout order. She said she called about five times and she kept getting hung up on so she was a little bit frustrated. She’s a little bit aggravated the owner or the Supervisor Took with the other, Customer said and flipped it around into his own story and then he got mad at her and started fussing her out and he was Very unprofessional with a young lady

I was confused why my meal was different recently so I went back this weekend and figured out they stopped automatically adding the onions to the home fries they added no problem and that was definitely this missing factor staff still friendly just make sure to bring cash for tip as they now accept cards but dont have ability to add tip 🙂
