I love olympia diner. So today I gave 4 stars for service and hope the lovely professional lady that is normally there see this because I come here all the time for the past 20 years and never had bad service or food. today I called 6 times because on work days I call get my food and go to work and no one answered but since I left early I decided to stop and see if they were open anyway. I was at Olympian diner in New Haven on El Grasso Boulevard on Sunday, September 28 around 9:45 AM. I went in. I sat down at the counter. The waiter that was at the register did not greet me at all. It was another family that came in and they actually sat down at a table. She went directly over to them and got their order before even proceeding to ask me what did I wanna order? I got another waiter attention. She took my order nicely

I was confused why my meal was different recently so I went back this weekend and figured out they stopped automatically adding the onions to the home fries they added no problem and that was definitely this missing factor staff still friendly just make sure to bring cash for tip as they now accept cards but dont have ability to add tip 🙂
