I like Pedas smoothies. Always something new to try. They have space if someone needs to work/study which is great.

I just had coffee and I really like it. Pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The boy who attended us was very friendly.

I have been aware that there was a Pedals business in New Haven, and I have visited a Pedals business in Durham, but I didn't realize that they're related until I visited the State Street Pedals for the first time this week.I think I may have been focused on coffee when I visited Durham, but the name of the game today was -- Juice! My son and I wanted to sit and enjoy some juice while he played Pokémon Go. The Inside was nice with comfortable seating, and they have cool bicycle themed decor. Service was friendly and efficient. My son and I each liked our juices. The juices are pre-bottled in a mini fridge. I had a vibrant orange Carrot Zinger. I think I picked up some ginger in addition to the carrot. My son liked his apple juice. We also tried each other's juices and we each liked both.I don't frequent juice bars and I don't make juices at home. So I don't know typical juice bar price ranges or the current cost of ingredients or the amount of work required to make high end juice. I was a bit surprised about the cost. Each juice came in a nice bottle and the charge includes a $1 bottle deposit. The Carrot Zinger cost $10 and the Apple cost $8. These prices might be reasonable for a juice bar, but at these prices, I'm much more likely to meet a friend for an iced coffee than a Pedals juice. Pedals also has smoothies for similar prices. I'd probably go that direction next time because seeing somebody work in front of me makes me feel better about the price. LOL Pedals has bowls and toasts as well.4.5 Stars

Very good smoothies, juices and healthy snacks. Friendly, prompt service. The only knock on the place is that it is a bit pricey.

I mistaken this place for the coffee pedaler on the other side of the street lolI was looking for a dog friendly place to have a quick lunch, and I ordered an avocado toast. They were nice and offered pb to my dog. But, wow, ~$11 for an avocado toast that consisted only of avocado and two pieces of bread. A teeny tiny amount of spices were also on the toast, but not even salty enough. It was a disappointing mistake and I don't know why they even offer an avocado toast.

Smoothie bowls are so good, honestly aren’t badly priced either compared to other smoothie bowl places. I love their newtella it is so good. I’d definitely recommend coming here.

Loveee the acai here, it has a creamy sorbet texture to it! Lots of base varieties as well as toppings, and they make in-house "Newtella" which is nutella but actually with hazelnuts and without the copious sugar and oils- AMAZING. I have not tried a smoothie yet but I am looking forward to it.

Place adds too much ice. $10 for a small cup of smoothie. Staff was kind, but not worth the drive and money for these mediocre smoothies. Fresh Monkee is better.

The atmosphere at pedals is wonderful - great indoor and outdoor seating spaces, incredibly clean, bright lighting, and kind workers. While toppings are abundant, the base is more like a mixed berry smoothie blend that's less viscous than true acai bowls. The "Newtella" topping is amazing though!! Even better than real Nutella in my opinion. Quick service and not ever a line in my experience.

I purchased a main mango and dragonfruit smoothie. The main mango tasted quite bitter and left a sour aftertaste; it had a little too much lime in it. As for the dragonfruit, it tasted like spam on the first couple of sips but the taste started to become tolerable. The price of a smoothie is a bit less than $10. The smoothies have very unique flavors so don't expect to taste something familiar but instead novel.
