I have eaten pizzas in many places, but the flavor of the dough, the sauce, the cheese and the added ingredients are exquisite. I am from PR and every time I go on vacation I visit this pizzeria. I love the taste of a well-made pizza. I recommend it. 200%, it tastes delicious.

I ordered a large white pizza with ricotta, spinach, and caramelized onions. When eating it with friends, we found a piece of a PLASTIC BAG, baked inside the pizza, under the cheese. We were all obviously shocked, and concerned, because many of us had already eaten a slice, and our friend bit into the plastic. We immediately called the restaurant and informed them of what happened. After answering their questions about the plastic (ex. where it was baked, what kind of plastic, etc.) and sending them picture evidence of the plastic pieces, they DENIED our claims, accused us all of lying, and refused to give us a refund, or a new pizza. The owner argued with us, saying "I've been doing this for 25 years" and acted as if he's never made a mistake in 25 years. We told him this is extremely unsanitary and dangerous. He then proceeded to hang up on us, yelling "Goodbye!". My friend is now worried that they ate some of the plastic, since they are allergic to latex. This is extremely unsanitary and dangerous. The customer service, and concern for customer safety was horrible. There was no apology. There was no consideration, concern, or empathy. Just disrespect and denial. There needs to be a health inspection here immediately.I am never eating here again.

The food tastes amazing, but I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here. Whether it is due to complications on the DoorDash/Uber Eats app or issues with personnel, ordering here is a complete nightmare. The menu loops you into selecting unwanted add-ons for additional costs. Recently I placed an order that needed to be modified within one minute of placing th order. I cancelled made minor revisions and replaced the order all within two minutes of the original order. Waited over 15 minutes for a confirmed. Then before cancelling, I called to make sure the order was not started. The representative stated that she was going to place the order promptly due to my call. By that point I let the young lady know it was not necessary since I had already waited. In all of this, I was still charged for this order and the owner refuted everything the representative stated. Long story short, just go to Modern.

I attempted to order for them via delivery. Twice they canceled my order because they were unable to fulfill it. I don't know what this means and it would've been helpful to know why they could not fulfill the order so I could re-order. Also I found it a bit odd that it took them so long to cancel the order. Basically right before it was supposed to arrive. I attempted to call them twice and waited over 20 minutes each time to speak to somebody (being told I was next in line every few seconds by an automated system) at which point I just ended up hanging up. This is not a place I recommend for delivery because they are unreliable. At the end of the day you want to order from someone and know that your food is going to arrive. This place cannot deliver on this expectation.

Mid Customer Service, found a hair in my food had to pull it out of my mouth. Explained I’m in school all day and had things to do that night I just threw the pizza out and called the next day. They said they could not give a refund. I understand policies are set in place to protect their money, but they need to make their kitchen cleaner for the safety of their customers and have staff wear hair bonnets so hair or other bodily things won’t get in the food. This is two times I’ve dealt with objects that should not be in my food recently, now I am avoiding eating out as much as I can unless ik the sanitary standards are high because people do not care when handling other people’s food. As long as they get their paycheck.
