shoutout to Roia for providing meals during the covid_19 pandemic. Their meals for healthcare workers was a tasty chicken. And the polenta was beautifully prepared even with a to go meal.

First, the food and drink here are some of the best in NH, which for those who know how strong the NH food scene is for a small city, is saying something - creative, seasonal, local, and delicious. We've been on 4 occasions now (pre pandemic) and have never been disappointed. The space itself is really unique and noir, definitely one of the coolest old-school-cool spaces in the area to eat. Given how great our dining experiences had been and how much we loved the interior, my fiancé and I booked them for our wedding reception, and the staff could not have been more cool, professional, and attentive - even in spite of the pandemic and what I'm sure is a nightmare running a restaurant/event space in this moment. We've since postponed the event (naturally) but we've lucked out in a major way partnering with them and they've been amazingly helpful and professional amongst the chaos.

I would definitely recommend their pasta - it's all homemade and incredible. Eating it felt like a warm hug. The grilled octopus was also SO good and tender. Before the meal, they also give you sour dough bread (which was just okay tbh), but after the meal, they give you two small Madeleine cookies (which were amazing)!

I love Roia. It is a beautiful space and the chef does exquisite work, sometimes with simple dishes like cacao de pepe.
Really simple food made badly and very expensive for what it is. Went there twice (2nd time to confirm) and won't again. BTW, Covid Hamburger deal now is $28 for raw burger makings - they shape the patty and that is the end. You cook and assemble it. SMH

What a perfect gem! Beautiful building with ornate ceilings and columns and a lovely atmosphere. We booked a table for brunch and the service was top notch. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the food was absolutely excellent. It’s right next door to the Schubert Theatre, so I highly recommend booking in advance when you’re seeing a show. It’s on the pricey side, but it’s worth it! Highly recommend.
