Rocco's is the BEST Italian Bakery in CT, hands down. The bread has that crispy crust with chewy center. I could eat a whole loaf in one sitting, but have learned to enjoy it toasted, one tasty piece at a time (or as part of an awesome sandwich ?), to make it last ?Their chocolate lemon pie ? and ricotta pie are unbelievable. If you've tried others, you're in for a surprise. Their baked goods are all better than homemade! Next time I'm going for their massive and delicious sfogliatella pastries. The line outside the building today for the homemade, Easter baked goods spoke volumes about the quality of their products. And, it was worth the wait! Best if all, the prices are very reasonable (cheap by comparison to other local shops).5 stars ? plus for Rocco's. Best baked goods.... anywhere

The best, friendliest and by far least expensive Italian pastry shop in New Haven. It was like stepping back a decade in terms of their pricing. Everything I tried was superior. A great spot and highly recommended.

The “small” chocolate covered lemon pie was actually huge and quite heavy for $9 and a mini cannoli for $3. Barely scratched the surface here’s but lobster tails and cookies looked great for next time. Everything here was so inexpensive. Cash only !!!!

I bought a cake that was overpriced and full of just cream. I will never go again.

The lady working was nice but the cannoli cake I got from there was dryer than the Sahara desert unfortunately

By far the best in new haven. I went to Rocco's, lucibellos, Libby's.cannolis, lobster tails, sfogliatella were amazing. Crispy shell and excellent filling, and crispy flaky pasty.

Been going to Rocco's on and off for years. Picked up some cannolis and danish this morning. The cannoli shells were fresh, crisp and the filling wasn't over sweet. The best part they were $1.00 to $2.00 cheaper than the area bakeries. The danish were delicious again fresh and for $2.00 can't go wrong. The Italian bread looked awesome.

I stop in at Rocco's every Saturday to get a Saturday night dessert for my family and a loaf of stuffed bread. The tiramisu is a favorite in my house along with the mousse cake cupcakes! Some weekends you can get the day old stuffed bread for $3 versus $10. The pizza dough is the best Abs we've also tried the carrot cake which is full of nuts and flavor. My only complaint is that on some weekends there is a young lady behind the counter who is rude and doesn't seem to want to be there. No smile, no greeting, nothing. I enjoy seeing Anna and the others but this one young lady makes what would be 5 stars down to a 4.
