Great food and wonderful people

Everything I have tried so far has been absolutely fresh and delicious. Tonight I had Sudanese Falafel. I paired it with yogurt dill dipping sauce, lemon couscous and sliced organic mini tomatoes with cracked sea salt, EVOO and fig infused balsamic vinegar. Absolutely wonderful.

Food is so thoughtfully prepared and soooo delicious. Meals for two last me for at least four meals.

Another outstanding meal! We ordered at the beginning of the week for a Friday pickup and were delighted by the pistachio crusted salmon, the spinach and beans plus the naan. All nicely prepared and deliciously seasoned. The pick up was a breeze and everyone we have met at the kitchen has been helpful and friendly.

We get takeout from them every week. Delicious flavors and taste like a home cooked meal from all around the world.

I frequently pick up their prepared foods at Thyme & Season. Today I finally tried the Afghan Spinach & Leek Dumplings, and they were hands down some of the best things I've ever eaten. At least three times I exclaimed, out loud, to myself (my cats?) about how delicious they were! Next time I'll try to snap a picture before I inhale the whole container :)

I'm not big on 'take out' but I never miss a chance to grab one or two things from Sanctuary Kitchen whenever I can get to the New Hevn Farmer's Market. This week I grabbed Afghan Spinach & Leek dumplings on a whim in addition. To my usual 'pistachio' fix, and it was amazing. Similar in some ways to Somasa Chat but without all the fried guilt. Really delightful, made a fabulous lunch!

I love the mission of this place, to "partner with immigrants and refugees to build economic opportunity and authentic connections through food" and have been loving everything I've been picking up, especially appreciating their new 5 week plant-based meal program called Sahtain! Every meal I've tried is simply delicious and healthy. I'm someone who normally loves lots of herbs, spices, salt, and ultimately pretty complicated dishes, but what I'm always surprised by is how

I highly recommend checking out Sanctuary Kitchen and their offerings. The ingredients tasted fresh and I loved that each of the menu items were seasoned in a way that reflected the culture of the chef (I tried their Sudanese falafel and it tasted different from any falafel I've ever had). Ordering and pick-up was very straightforward and the portioning of the food was enough that I had leftovers for the next day. Also the restaurant has a positive mission so by supporting them you will also be supporting a great cause!

Sanctuary Kitchen is amazing! Ordering online and pick up was very simple, and staff was so friendly. But I should note that online pick up is only available on select days so plan accordingly (this may be due to Covid)! I ordered the falafel, baba ganoush, and pita bread, all of which were delicious! The food also tasted so fresh. AND proceeds from this restaurant go towards a great cause, which is even better. Would highly recommend.

I have attended two cooking classes and two supper clubs and I just served as a volunteer for the first time. I am also about to host a supper club. I highly recommend the cooking classes to anyone who likes to eat and learn about other cultures-- even if they feel they can't cook. Great to do with a friend or on a date! The supper clubs are really special, intimate experiences usually hosted in private homes. I also had a great time volunteering at Soup and Salaam. I would recommend any Sanctuary Kitchen events!
