Nice quiet dining area, table for two that wasn't squished in with 10 other tables, but set apart. We could converse in normal tones, and that was a relief. The cocktails were very good, loved the chai old fashioned. The food was also good: Sicilian meatballs are something rare to find in New Haven and my pasta was flavorful and husband's steak was well seasoned. Really nice spot for an intimate meal, highly recommend!
Excellent service - friendly and quick. Went during New Haven Restaurant Week for lunch with a group of 7. The food was average, the lobster bisque was not to my liking, and it was a bit salty. The Sicilian calamari was good, but the marinara sauce lacked flavor.
My mom and I had a great lunch here! The highlights were the tuna tartar and the cavatelli! The fact that they offered a complimentary dessert for restaurant week lunches was a nice touch!
