This was my first outdoor dining experience since covid and it was worth the wait. The food was delicious, the service was fast and the staff was very friendly! Love it!

Went for a birthday and loved everything we ordered.For appetizers we got goat cheese pizza and fungi pizza, both excellent.The pizza dishes were all on our taste and the octopus delicious.Service was on point and very friendly.Will be back.

Wow. Had such high hopes- was here 4 years ago and loved it. Tonight it took 45 minutes for cocktails, the food came out faster. Service was horrible- food was okay. They definitely need more help- where are the workers?

This restaurant is excellent; the food is well made and the service is friendly and informal but attentive. We arrived for our 7:45 reservation and were told we would have to wait a bit; it was 8:15 before we sat down. They were very apologetic and gave us a free pizza appetizer to make up for it, which was very kind of them. The place was packed, and it was easy to see why, the food is great, with only a few off notes. The first is the wine list, which is nearly all Italian, and quite nice, but overpriced. The other issues: I ordered the hanger steak which was prepared very well (it's a tricky cut of meat, so kudos) but came out kind of cold, it had obviously been sitting for a bit. We also ordered a side of shishito peppers that was acknowledged by our server but never showed up at our table, or on the bill, so I think she just forgot. Everything else, however, was fantastic; the branzino was amazing, with brown butter fried capers that were perfect with the fish, and the duck breast was cooked perfectly - I have had a lot of duck and this was one of the best I've had. Go to this place!

We have been to Tarry Lodge once before and it was excellent. The service and food were as we would expect. It was good enough to warrant my wife and I bringing the kids for dinner on Mother's Day. Everything we loved about the experience the first time was destroyed in our most recent visit. We started off with our daughter ordering a glass of wine the waitress came back three times to check which wine she ordered. We then ordered appetizers, salads, and pizzas. The appetizers came out quickly, the salads did not come out at all, and the pizza's took an eternity. The waitress checked what she wrote down and had only captured one of the salads, but regardless did not put in for any of them. Obviously, the salads were removed from the bill. Once the pizzas arrived the waitress asked if we wanted crushed pepper and grated cheese. We asked for both. She also asked if we wanted any more sodas. My son asked for another Foxon Park Cream. The pepper and cheese never arrived and when she came back with sodas, a good long while after, she brought two colas. Keep in mind we only asked for one cream soda and my soda had originally been a diet. She brought the sodas back and came back with a single soda for my son. It was a root beer not a cream. Our favorite part of Tarry Lodge was the desert our first time. The olive oil ice cream was amazing. We raved about it to our kids and anyone who would listen. Ordered several for the table and when we ate it this time it was Vanilla, not even a hint of olive oil flavor. I wanted to love Tarry Lodge based on our first visit. However, it was ruined in total based on our last. I have never had worse service and disappointment. If it were busy we could understand but it was average at best for capacity. I only feel bad for anyone we told to go here if they do before we get the chance to warn them.

Fantastic return to indoor dining. We felt safe and could enjoy our meal. The service was great and the food even better than we remembered.

It's was an awesome dinner, my husband was delighted with the variety of pizza choices, he loved the goat pizza, the place was clean and the service was perfect. I would definitely recommend Tarry Longe restaurant for any special occasion.
