I had went out to eat with my friends and we all ordered margarita flights. Upon finishing my last drink, I almost swallowed a whole one inch SCREW that was in the bottle of the frozen margarita cup. I had notified the lead server and he literally took the cup, looked at me, didn’t say anything, and walked away. I had to literally walk back up to my table server to tell him about the encounter. It was handled very unprofessional granted the severity of the situation… a few days after my complaint they called me back to finally follow up and stated it was from the blender (another manager stated it was from somewhere else when he first saw the screw).. and they tried to offer me a $50 gift card to come back?!? Absolutely absurd as that could’ve been my LIFE and i had a whole screw in my mouth/ marinating in my drink…

Happy Hour has great prices, but the food & service were mediocre. Quite sad that the menu didn't specify that the mango habanero chicken tacos were made from boneless chicken wings. Not sure we'll return.

My friends and I went for a little girls night and ordered the margarita flight. Within the 4th margarita, my friend pulled an entire METAL SCREW out of her drink!!!!!! Instantly called the server over who was extremely apologetic and an amazing server who then went and got over the “server manager”. The “server manager” came over holding the cup with the screw in it, looked at us, and said absolutely nothing, no apology, and walked away and started dancing at his desk. Later that night the “general manager” came over and said he had to look at video tapes of the table and over the bar and said he was not sure how that happened because the blenders don’t have screws…other then our server, the staff was super unprofessional, couldn’t care any less, and don’t care at all about the service they provide.

Drove an hour to get here and spent another 50 minutes on parking. We came specifically for the flights and were told we couldn't buy any because they stopped serving flights because it was too packed ... mind you if you looked left and looked right everybody had a flight at their table. When I mentioned that everyone else had a flight and that's literally what we came for and there were no signs or anything in the establishment that stated they would not be serving flights ... their sign was actually advertised outside displaying a happy hour from 4-7 .. I came after 7pm and paid full price for all of our drinks expecting to be able to order a flight as well... in return I received a bad attitude and an over priced margarita with an attitude. When I discussed this issue with another worker I was told that because it was national margarita day and it was so busy they had to stop serving flights ..... how ironic that your name literally has the word tequila in it and you can't even live up to your name during national margarita day when margarita are pretty much advertised all over your establishment and are the main drink at the restaurant. I wish people would stop supporting business like these when this types pf things happen.. that's like me opening a burger shop and on international burger day I refuse to sell burgers because it's too much for me to handle... on the next international margarita day please do us all a favor and close down..... I would much rather go to elm city social club and have a flight ... id get it with a smile ... unlike the rude customer service I received at the bar from the Dominican lady .. it was like she was pissed off we came to eat.. she could've just clocked out and went home . Never coming here again.

Horrible, HORRIBLE customer service!!! We received our food and within a few bites discovered that there was 4 pieces of hair in the tacos and 1 piece of hair lodged in the container of sour cream. The manager came up to our table and asked “ oh were you shaking your dreads in the food” and immediately mentioned taking the meal off of the bill. He came back and blamed us and stated that we scratched our head and the hair landed on the food (the hair was in the plate across), he then states that we will have to pay for the plate because we put hair in the food!! Terrible!

I recently visited Te Amo Tequila and had a very disappointing experience. Despite being of legal age drinking age, I was asked for my ID when when I ordered a drink which was fine but I accidentally forgot my ID and only had a picture on my phone not to mention I ALWAYS come to this place and was never questioned my age. What made the situation worse was that a few minutes later the two tables next to me were asked for an ID but did not have their physical ID and still received the drink. I hope the management addresses this issues and ensures that all customers are treated equally.

Went there tonight at 5pm for an early dinner with a friend we were stopped at the door by a gentleman that said the restaurant was closing at 5,:30 they needed to clean up or something there were people sitting down and eating they didn't look like they were being rushed out but the gentleman at the door insisted that everyone in there would be leaving. He suggested we go have. Dtnk down the street but we opted to go next door to PRIME 16 and had the best burger ever. I really wanted the sweet plantain nachos you serve I had them once before and they were excellent and I wanted them tonight for my birthday meal,

Terrible customer service upon walking in the door not to mention they were very rude about wanting to look at a menu. Then I would have loved to have had options of tacos but told taco Tuesday is for dine in only but it says nothing on the menu.
The only flavor in anything I got was the soup but unsure how Mexican it really is.

The music is great. Kate took good care of me. I had the happy hour nachos with pork belly and a margarita. First margarita was watered down prickly pear, the re-make was a stronger watered down mango. I would avoid or order the passion fruit. Didn’t try that one. The pork belly was way over cooked and could have chipped a tooth. The nachos are really just cheese, a little corn, a little pico and some sour cream. Not well distributed or proportioned. Avoid. I would try something else but I’m hoping to save room for better food — I heard downtown New Haven as amazing spots

One of the severs just was provoking and unprofessional "leon" would engage in inappropriate conversation and pester the guest.. Terrible service would not recommend this place to any of my friends. The managers allows him to bother paying customers which is even more mind-blowing. There should be no reason to overhear Leon bothering a paying guest who clearly being respectful. I found that very distasteful of the establishments.
