Greeted at the door with kindness and professionalism! Check in process was quick and easy. Loved the atmosphere and look of the hotel and the best part was the cleanliness of the entire hotel and room itself. The size of the room was perfect and the best part was no carpets! Hardwood/laminate flooring which is a millions times cleaner and healthier! Bathroom was huge and extremely clean as well. Good closet space, hangers, ironing table with iron, blow dryer and just about everything you would need. Highly recommend this place! One thing I will say is I wish they had slippers for the room, but that won't stop me from coming back or recommending to everyone!Rooms: Clean!!!!

First, let me say the suite was beautiful, and the staff members were warm and friendly. However, taking the time to inform me or even give me a document with information about the amenities was absent. Things like soap for the dishwasher and linens for the pullout were nowhere in the suite. These are not major issues but more small aggravations that can and should be easily rectified.Rooms: The rooms are spacious with simple elegance, clean, and comfortable.Nearby activities: Very close to Yale's activities, the theater and city center sponsored activities.Walkability: The close proximity to the theater, great restaurants, and downtown government buildings makes it easy access without a taxi.

Lacks flexibility with their customers. Colleague tested posted for COVID So I had to change my reservation last minute to two weeks from today. I understand every hotel has a policy but they wouldn’t do it unless they charge me an unreasonable fee (especially since they still have rooms available for both dates).

The hotel is decently located. During the weekend they have parties in the rooms and it is extremely noisy. They only have one concierge at the desk at night so that means that no one is able to control the noise. The walls are extremely thin so you’re able to hear everything that your neighbor does. I would think twice about booking this place. The concierge is not super helpful. At one point they had 10 people in the room and were not able to police it. The elevators don’t require a key card to enter so security may be super lax.

My family and I were at the Blake Hotel 6th floor of the rooftop. Celebrating my sister's surprise birthday party with her husband & other family member. We had a wonderful time the staff did a wonderful job. My sister was shocked her facial expression was priceless.
