Love this diner. Would be great if they could expand a bit as there can be quite a wait for a squeezed table, but if you come with the expectation that you may need to wait a bit for a table, the food and service are well worth it.

I am African American and when I come in especially today. I noticed the difference in the customer service that I receive. They serve 2oz cups of coffee for $3.75. Against Serve safe they combine expired coffee with freshly brewed. I ordered one egg and was given two. I only ate one and when I seen my check. I reminded the server that I only ordered one, she looked at me with a so what face expression and said “ I am pretty sure the cook gave you two” even though that’s not what I ordered or ate. I stated again that’s not what I ordered and I cannot eat two, that’s why I ordered one. She said well I guess I can take off the little $2 😳I have never been rude. The coffee cups size takes me four cups to equal one. So I like refills especially for $4 per 2oz cups and she fills the cup halfway. No matter what she should never forget about customer service no matter the nationality. I watched the difference in her service she provided me versus those who were not African American and this is maybe the 4th time I have experienced this issue and only with the same server. I will not be back.

Very cool and chill place. The food was delicious as well! My kids had the cinnamon roll pancakes and oh my, they were scrumptious! The atmosphere is really laid back and the service was just lovely. I would definitely be back if I’m ever in the area again!!

First time in this place, service was great and the food was good too, the portions are more than enough and the prices are totally worth it. I would totally come back. 100/10 recommend.

immaculately golden vibe with jazz music playing and colorful posters of jazz festivals around the world. perfect mix of rustic charm with glass ketchup bottles and quality food. i’ve never had potato skins on home fries cooked to such crunchy perfection. the rye toast was earthy and crisp and the food came out in less than 5 minutes. very happy to live a couple blocks from here!

This was a beautiful little hole in the wall breakfast spot. Lovely jazz music, kind staff, and a colorful interior decorated the inside atmosphere. Reasonable prices for cash only (atm on site). We so enjoyed our experience there!

We were on our way to RI and Martha's Vineyard. We heard a really good things about this place and stopped by for brunch.
I was impressed by their service, they were super quick. Taste was also good.
We will visit again.

Weekend will be very popular in this place. Prepare to wait for a while. Food is good but the potatoes were a little bit too salty for me. We ordered egg Benedict, mine is good but my friend’s eggs were overcooked. Cash only.

The food here is amazing and our waitress was awesome. You have to try the grapefruit brûlée and the cinnamon roll pancake!

Simple, homey, down-to-earth breakfast spot for eggs, toast, homefries and pancakes. It's cash-only, so make sure you bring some cash. We got omelettes, 2 eggs any style, eggs benedict, eggs florentine, an egg sandwich, and cinnamon roll pancakes.
You can order wheat, white, rye, or English muffin for toast. The omelettes are very customizable, and the toppings were delicious. They have Smuckers marmalade, strawberry jam, and grape jam. There's also maple syrup, Tabasco, and ketchup. The coffee was great.
The homefries are very crisp and delectable. We highly recommend the fluffy cinnamon roll pancakes for a sweet treat :)

If you're in New Haven or a student at Yale, you should find a weekend to hike to the Pantry. I'm surprised not more people know about this place. Fresh brunch place!

Cozy, colorful atmosphere and excellent, helpful, friendly waitstaff. The menu has something for everyone, even a delicious (seriously) tofu scramble! Five people in our party and everyone liked what they ordered.

We really liked our server. One of us has dietary restrictions, and she was very attentive to his needs.

Perfect brunch. Delicious eggs, bacon, and home fries are some of the best I've ever had. Price is very reasonable.
