Sad to bring this down so low... The last three times we've tried to get food from here it was wrong or took forever (or both). The food is usually pretty good but they definitely don't do well with any customization. One time we went and waited for a pickup order for 45 minutes, the staff couldn't tell us how much longer it would be, and we left. Their hours listed are totally wrong too... It's more like they close if they feel like it. Very disappointed.

Did not even sit down to eat because the atmosphere and service were absolutely dreadful. Google stated they opened at 7am and made a reservation for 8:15am. Got to the building at about 8:10 and was talking with my fiance as walking into the door so I did not look fully inside at the time. We just opened the second door and staff immediately stopped at the door and stated that they were actually closed and that she had the lights off for that reason. We were told it would be 10 minutes before they opened and we stepped out into the entry area so we weren’t out in the cold. Another staff member walked into the building and turned on the interior light. A moment later we over hear the first staff member trash talking us for coming through the unlocked door. There was nothing stating that they were still closed and the windows are tinted with the sun out the building always looks super dim.

Okay honestly, I saw some of the bad reviews but the pictures looked good and I was like it can’t be that bad. Turns out it can be that bad. It was comically awful. I’m convinced it must have been everyone’s first day at their first ever job. All of our coffee mugs were just covered in stuff it was impossible to even hold them. They took forever to take our order, and then took it twice, and then brought our food in spurts, with a lot of random extra stuff we didn’t order. We didn’t get some of the stuff we did order. And that wouldn’t have been the worst thing - I love free food- but it was actually inedible. It was like eating a plastic apple. It looked amazing and tasted like absolutely nothing, it was crazy. I’ve never experienced anything like that. And our waiter kept talking shit about the other waiters, and he had the biggest attitude in the world and was so rude to us as if we did something to him 😭 He was not having a great first day at his first ever job I guess. I honestly can’t believe how ridiculously awful it was. Might go again just for the plot. Excited for whatever establishment will take its place when it inevitably closes in the next few months

Im currently here now and before I ate I already it was gonna be horrible. It started with the one person show. Literally one person doing everything it was embarrassing for an establishment to be honest. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was the cook as well. She was the host the server and the bartender. Honestly this place should close until they can afford to hire more help. I feel so bad for the server/host/bartender/maybe cook. Hopefully they promote her and pay her for three jobs because if she is making under $25 an hour that would be so disrespectful and they dnt value her which is insane because she is doing everything alone. They dont even have enough qr codes for each table they have to take it off one table to give to another we actually didn’t even stay for the food with how long they took it. Please dnt come here u will be disappointed

First time visiting this restaurant. The vibes is more for twenty and thirty years old crowd. Located in a college town. My omelette was over cooked. My daughter said her food was okay. My expectations of having good food was based on other reviews. Check out the restaurant because my preferences may be different from yours. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The service was great.

The place 2 be is amazing! From the employees to the food to the ambiance of the restaurant! Everything was great and the employees were amazing at accommodating your needs. Definitely somewhere I’ll come back too!

If I could, I would put zero stars. we wasn’t greeted at the door. The waiter was acting clueless like she didn’t know what was going on. The service was horrible. when we got our milkshake, it looked absolutely nothing like the picture No whipped cream, little plastic cup, it just looked nasty we didn’t even want to try it. The mac & cheese looks like frozen mac and cheese that you put in the microwave. The mozzarella sticks were soggy drowning in marinara sauce. that the French toast was made with thin bread and was not stuffed and looked disgusting and nothing like the picture. The only good thing was the curly fries quite literally. The manager had an attitude with me when I told her we didn’t want the mozzarella sticks that we didn’t even eat? The music was literally so loud we had to shout. Overall horrible experience and will never go again. And I don’t even write reviews, but I had to for this place because it was outrageous.

The service was honestly horrible. They were out of most of their food, and they just left dirty dishes piling up until we had to say something. The staff was completely disrespectful and rude. The fries tasted like school cafeteria food, and we waited around 10 minutes just for someone to even come over. When we finally sat down, they ignored us for about 40 minutes. Overall, the experience was really disappointing and not worth it at all.

Definitely not the “Place 2 Be.”
On my way inside, I walked past a woman saying, “Don’t come here unless you want to wait an hour for food.” I thought she was exaggerating since I’ve been here before..... turns out she wasn’t.
I waited 15 minutes at the concierge desk with no Hi, Hello, or Welcome. Eventually having to walk around the restaurant just to find someone to check me in. Then I waited another 10 minutes for them to prepare a table… only to be forgotten about again.
When we finally sat down, our waitress barely cleaned the table in front of us and handed us crumpled menus. At that point, it was clear the experience wasn’t getting any better.
This place is in serious need of new management ASAP.

We had a reservation for 1pm, by the time we received the food it was 2:45, it took 45 minutes after sitting to even get some water. They are very understaffed, all empty tables were dirty, and the same waitress had to serve every table. We sat upstairs and the room was filled with smoke, and the bathrooms had no toilet paper.
The food, I order a California Burger, after the long wait, I wasn't even able to finish it because how dry the meat was. The patties were like squished hockey pucks.
This restaurant was made to make food you will want to post on Instagram, that's it. Will never come back here.

had to wait more than an hour for food and the place was not even full, very disappointing
I was super impressed with my experience at The Place 2 Be this morning, and let me tell you it was definitely The Place 2 Be before the Yale Harvard game! The servers were super busy but kept such a great personality and the food let me tell you the food was amazingly good and great portion sizes! Every drink i saw go out was absolutely amazing looking, I think I need to come back a lot to try every single one!!

Made a reservation on a Tuesday because we were 7 people. Spoke on the phone to make the reservation. Sjwked up and they were closed. It was a birthday party so that sucked.
