It's Sunday afternoon around 2pm, wife and kid are out of town, I decide I'm going to catch the end of the Capitals Penguins game at the Regal Beaagle. I have heard advertisements in the radio for like two months saying this place was like New Havens most happening spot and I have been meaning to check it out. Website even looked really good, very professional. So I put on my Caps OV jersey and hat on and drive from Milford to new haven to catch the third period. When I walk in go downstairs and see a completely empty bar, some Small TV's no caps game on. I ask the old man bartender and he very nicely puts the game on however the largest TV in the bar has no sound so we keep listening to the 70's funk-like music coming out of the radio while watching the game. Men's bathroom has a powerful smell of ammonia/cat piss. I give this place 2 stars because I feel I was mislead by the advertising which made this place seem like a super cool upbeat happening new spot. I drove my a** all the way from Milford to new haven, found parking and walked into a dive. I could have just walked out my front door to the Beachcomber at home. It is definitely a local dive bar which I am cool with but not as advertised.
I ordered off Yelp my food took almost two hours and was cold the fries were cardboard I called customer service the driver sat and waited on my food for 30 mins it must've just sat there I'm very disappointed I won't order from here again, also my chicken philly was a sandwich not served on a hoagie it was served on hard flaky roll just a waste of money

Honestly love this place! Went with a couple of friends for a drink and a bite after work. Food was wonderful as always but service... ehhh we asked for our check multiple times and the bartender was too busy taking shots with his friends. I get it we all want to have fun at work and let loose that doesn't bother me. As someone who goes out a lot I really don't mind waiting for any reason at all. However, when we asked for the check (for a third time) still was not attended to after waiting well over 40 minutes (unfortunately know this for a fact because we had checked our phones) When we have to wait and wait and wait this is not ok. Great place needs to work on their staff!
