I got food poisoning after eating this and the food was cold I had to warm it up at home. That should have stopped me from eating it. The costumer service was bad too. Plz don’t eat here it’s unsafe!!

I am an Uber Eats driver and when I came to this place to pick up an order, I almost told the person who ordered from here never to order there again. The atmosphere is unsanitary, dirty, literal dirt on every crevice. The order was put in 30 min prior to my pickup and still had to wait 15 min for the order. The cook)owner was arguing with someone in there language and not paying attention to making the meal. They also sell produce and off end cooking spices and staples. I feel like they try but just appearances mean everything for a restaurant and if they only fixed it up better and put some nice presentation it would probably get more business.

The most trashy restaurant I've seen, it's dirty outside, dirty inside and the workers are dirty as well. Want to try food here? 75% chances to get food poisoning.

I was in the hospital and needed some food, since they are close to the hospital I call made my order and have it picked up. My disappointment! customer service was rude and lack knowledge. There were scraps of fish in the food as if someone was eating it, not to mention the grease soaking through the bag and swallowing the rice. I wish there were zero stars.

I just ordered oxtails it has no Caribbean taste it’s actually disgusting a waste of $20 . The rice is salty I’m low-key upset cause I’ve been sick. I haven’t eaten for almost 2 days and wanted some oxtails. I will highly recommend never ordering from this place..

the place is filthy inside, the lady in the front is very unprofessional the food is nasty. i wouldn’t recommend ever going here if you want something expensive but nasty here’s the right place to come, i recommend kool breeze in westville not this nasty place.

Oxtails nasty

I order the curry chicken dinner, and when my food arrived the inside of the chicken was PINK!!! This place is extremely unsanitary. Will not be ordering food from them again.

The place wasn't sanitary. I ordered jerk chicken and I kid you not the chicken was like 3 days old I was charged $15 for undercooked rice, old chicken that was hard and made me sick. I don't like bashing anyone restaurant but I don't want people wasting their money.I'd be ashamed to sell people food that nasty and honestly it's as if they didn't care to sell food that old which is why I'm coming at them. Never again will I spend a dime here. You want a good spot Washington avenue has better cleaner fresher food

I go for Stewed pork. It's a bit pricey and lately without butter beans, but the best and only source available anywhere near New Haven.
