Really great and diverse selection of high quality plates with generous quantity which makes the $15 cost very reasonable.

The Schwarzman Center at Yale is a recent repurposing of two legacy buildings at the heart of campus: the Commons Dining Hall and Memorial Hall, easily recognizable thanks to its dome. It expands the two spaces so that they serve as a student center of sorts, with the goal of bringing community members together over dining, meeting spaces, and the arts.Besides the Commons and Memorial Hall, new spaces and venues include a convenience store, a dance studio, a 21+ pub, function facilities, performance spaces, public art galleries, and study nooks. When I ventured inside to grab a drink on a sunny, warm day spent exploring campus, I found the space vibrant and well-trafficked, particularly in newer eateries with communal seating. The Commons itself, however, appeared to be a grab-and-go affair either due to ongoing Covid measures or due to renovation.Given that it was a nice day, however, students were more likely to head outside than linger indoors.

The Schwarzman Center is designed to be a centre for student life that promotes creativity, and fosters diversity and inclusion. Within this beautiful space is a large dining hall called the Commons (reminiscent of Hogwarts), an upcoming bar/lounge space called the Well, and dance space. The Underground contains the Elm/Ivy (officially opens on March 29) which has delicious globally inspired menu options including soups, salads, gelato, freshly roasted coffee, and sandwiches for $8. The Schwarzman Center is accessible to Yale faculty and students.

They have small colleges with dorms and cafeterias, it’s nice. The better thing is there is no Greek life, awesome
A wonderful space. Reminds you of something out of a Harry Potter movie. The space when used for functions is spacious and can be set with a stage and various configurations. But like all large spaces be aware it can be very cold in the Winter, if it is cold outside.
A great place with great design. It looks like very old building. Like Harry Potter movie :)
