I hear al ot about new haven having the best pie I had better in Newton at pizza palace and haven't had any better then fioris in Pittsburgh but the staff are decent over all a kinda wierd exchange with a the guy who felt like he ran the place when I was paying up he asked if I knew uncle Sam assuming I didn't know about taxes or even cared he must of thought my steering at the menu was something other then curiosity of the actual menu not the price Flux but the pizza was definitely far from the worse 4 outta 5

My son went to eat there with his friends and the waitress name Debbie was very rude and making comments about his weight which is very unprofessional and she has no right and is not part of her job !!!!!!!!!

The pizza is not good if youre looking for good New Haven pizza go to Sally’s or modern. The bathrooms had no soap in them so I’m not sure how the cooks washed their hands after using the restroom. The owner seemed like a really lazy grease ball. Will never be

Highly recommend the scrod santorini and the moussaka. The Greek salad dressing is made in-house and is to die for. The chicken orzo soup is phenomenal. The chicken cutlets are also delicious. Tommy, George, and the rest of the staff are so kind and make you feel like part of the family. I recommend this establishment to family and friends…everyone I know! Thank you Yorkside…you are simply the best.

Is New Haven pizza supposed to be soggy? If so this is the place to enjoy it. The Greek salad was crispy though.

We’ve always been curious to try Yorkside Pizza, and thinking it was a Tuesday night we thought it would be a good time to visit - little did we know there was a concert at Toad’s Place, so the place was hopping! We only waited for a little bit before getting a seat, and the staff really did a commendable job of handling the volume that they had. Definitely a well-oiled machine here! We just did a cheese pizza and chocolate milkshake, and it really hit the spot! Definitely one of the best Greek style pizzas I’ve had, and it was a nice change for the typical apizza style in the area. The restaurant had a classic pizza parlor feel in here that we liked! We’ll be back!

Vibes were way off with the waitress I had. She didn't believe my state-of-CT-issued non-drivers ID was real, like a 29-year-old with a baby face doesn't exist. She did not like that I was dining alone and also drinking a few beers. (Again, non-driver's ID means I do not drive at all, so there was no danger.) She made faces and did all she could to delay serving the two additional beers I ordered. At one point, she stood across the dining room whispering with another waitress and staring at me. When it was time to pay, she took my debit card and scrutinized that for a good 30 seconds, then walked around the dining room with my card delivering food to other tables which made me feel very uncomfortable.I've dined here before with a friend and by myself and never had any issues, but last night was so weird, and I'm pretty put off from ever returning.I get it's a restaurant in a college town, and they probably deal with a lot of fake ID issues, but if they're that pressed then they should get ID scanners to settle the matter once and for all.

I know there are a few other notable pizza places in New Haven that catch much of the notoriety however, Yorkside is a New Haven staple! Pizza is always great, subs are fantastic, and even the ice cream is amazing. The staff are pretty friendly and the head honcho(manager) is always there to guarantee your order is just right with an added "What elsee?" that'll entice you to order everything on the menu.
