My husband and I went to eat for the first time and the experience was great. The food was incredibly seasoned and the service was excellent. The bartender and waiter Angel was very knowledgeable in the food of his country. I recommend the restaurant for its excellent food and service.

We popped into this gem of a spot on Easter Sunday while traveling to the area to see our Coast Guard son from Washington state. It was a pleasant surprise. The food was amazing and the service was unbeatable. We would definitely return if in the area again. We even bought their sauce to take back to WA, it was so delicious!

Very clean. A little skeptical because it was pretty empty. Very good food lots of seasonings. We tried Enchiladas with beef, calamari, and a mixed platter. Very friendly service, though the atmosphere was a little lacking.

We ordered tamales (a dozen - chicken and pork) from this restaurant and they are awesome! Lots of meat and very filling! We placed an order and they were hot and fresh when we picked them up!Tasted Gallo beer for the first time and it is smooth and overall great! The service is outstanding! Angel is very nice, professional and helpful!I recommend this spot for sure!Although we haven't dined in, we have taken out and it is definitely worth it!

We stopped by for a quick brunch. Plenty of seating available. Street parking. The host/ bartender is very nice. The food arrived quickly. The tortillas are homemade- very, very soft, wonderful! The beans are delicious- simmered till soft and melt in your mouth, flavorful. They want you to be comfortable and enjoy your meal. It was refreshing! :)

Super tasty food. Seems very authentic. If it was closer I'd be there at least once a week.

We stopped in at Candy’s unplanned for our first visit and are so happy we did! The restaurant is a really pretty, welcoming space and Angel was so friendly and helpful. I hadn’t had Guatemalan food prior to our first visit and tried the dobladas, which were outstanding. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the portions were big and reasonably priced. We’ve been back since and the second trip was just as good-Candy’s is definitely one of my favorite local restaurants at this point.
