Vegan friendly!!! This is one of the best options for vegans in the Waterford, New London, Groton area. They have many vegan options. The food and the service are outstanding and the restaurant is very tastefully decorated and very clean.

I ordered goat kottu roti and Ceylon sweet hot tea. Medium hot is pretty good but a little salty. Ceylon tea is super great! Nice atmosphere, quiet and private. Waiters are nice.

Love their food and the seasoning/flavors are out of this world!! Everything I’ve had I loved! The lump rice with goat or fish is my favorite! And the fried fish rolls are so good! As well as everything else! I’ve never had anything bad from this place.

Our server helpfully explained the different menu options to us. I got the gobi honey garlic cauliflower appetizer and the entree of pork kottu roti; both were delicious. My friend who had the calamari special appetizer said that it was really good and needs to become a full-time menu item instead of a special. With our main course our server brought us each a custom flavoring on the side to try: a homemade blend of red pepper flakes for my spice-loving friend, and a savory non-spicy brown sauce for me - I was really impressed that our server figured out from our conversations a personalized flavoring that each of us would like!

We had never had Sri Lankan food before but we tried it on a whim and have to visit every time we pass through New London now! We’re vegan and they do an amazing job with vegan options, but they also have options for everyone. The staff are super passionate about the cuisine and very kind as well. Cinnamon Grill is truly an amazing place. I’d give it 6 stars if I could!
