01.30.25 'Big Al's Reel Reviews' featuring Apathy- The Dutch Tavern 23 Green St ❤️ City of New London, CT ❤️ I ordered and reviewed their Cheese Steak Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Red Potato Salad. Apathy had a Cheeseburger with Red Potato Salad and Broccoli Cheddar soup. The big question is, "How was this Spot"?👎🏾👍🏾💣 Well I was pleasantly surprised that the place was booming when we walked in, I loved the whole atmosphere, the Owner and cook named Tim was very talkative and friendly to my Brotha Apathy and I. To top it all off he served us both delicious sandwiches👍🏾👍🏾, potatoes salad👍🏾 and broccoli and cheddar soup👍🏾. The Dutch Tavern is a great little spot, a hidden gem in the City of New London and I am glad that I finally found it!! You really need to get your *as down there Right away!👍🏾😏 Thanks Dutch Tavern! See you on the rebound! ☝🏾❤️ -Big Al Mayo.

Quite location. Few guests, which makes it a great bar to enjoy with a friend's, for a friendly conversation.

My new fav pub! Old style place in a historic neighborhood, wish I lived near this joint. Was heading up to Boston and was in the mood for a pint and burger. Ellie was a very friendly and great bartender, had the clam chowder and burger. And even got some soup to go for my kid which tells you how good it was! A very cool cook ( sorry didn’t get his name) who clearly enjoys his craft. Can’t wait to try his chili. 🍀

The Dutch is an old school beer and wine bar with dabblings into cocktails. (Prepackaged/canned tails) The staff is great and the regulars are entertaining. It's a place to have a lot of fun.

This place is a New London staple. Simple burgers and smallish drink menu. Great staff.

If I were President (unlikely) every town in America would have a place like this. Great lunches, wonderful service. Proud to be a New Londoner, and this is one of the reasons why.

Great little spot for a cold beverage and good conversation, almost hidden in plain site, which makes the spot that much better.

In my opinion, this is the quintessential New London bar. Be sure to try one of the pickled eggs.

Low key bar. Food at lunchtime. We were there in the evening. An earliervreview said that you know if you'll like it the minute you walk in.That sums it up perfectly. It suited us. We went back several times.
