Giving a five star review because I don’t wanna tank this place, but how do you place an order for delivery ? It’s so no clock on a Thursday and I called three times and the phone rings off the hook snd goes to an empty voicemail box? I’ve only ever eaten here once before and the food took forever but was great.... worked restaurants most my life what’s good !?

Insanely dissapointing. Don't waste your money, plenty of other quality restaurants nearby.We ordered wings, the yard bird sandwhich with garlicky French fries & the scallop tacos. Delivery.The wings never came, driver claimed the restaurant never even gave him the wings.The yard bird sandwhich and fries were gross. The piece of chicken was small and so overcooked that it was difficult to even bite through. The fries were super soggy. I could have gotten the same meal at wendys and it wouldn't have cost me $13.The scallop tacos were flavorless & came with 8 chips on the side & the smallest container of queso. Small portion, costing $17.Again, do not waste your money.

Maybe one of the most depressing dining experience I’ve ever had. The drinks and clam chowder were good and the server was friendly but that’s as charitable as I can be.We waited an hour between the soup and our entrees. The entrees themselves were missing many of the ingredients that were listed in the menu and came out lukewarm. The eggs Benedict was supposed to be served with cornbread, pulled pork and chipotle hollandaise. Ours was a sad display of wildly over cooked eggs, grilled chicken strips (??) and a single burger bun, no hollandaise in sight.My “Mclovin” burger was slightly better in that it was technically a burger, but that’s about it. None of the crispy onion that was mentioned or garlic fries it was supposed to come with.The final kick in the teeth was having to ask for silverware twice to eat this sad meal with. There were only two other tables in the restaurant and it looked like they were having a similar experience. I don’t know what else to say other than this was just a terrible choice to eat here and left me feeling sad and still hungry.

We stopped in for lunch, and cocktails. Our sandwiches were fantastic. The Clam Chowder was incredible. The staff were super friendly, and always moving. The loud Amtrac train whistle is a great touch.. Ha.

I went there with my family to have a nice lunch one day about a month ago, and I have never been more disappointed in my life. When we did finally find a parking spot, I almost couldn’t even get in the door because there were several homeless drunks sitting on the sidewalk directly in front of their door, which the staff did not seem to care about. We ordered a couple of salads and a couple of sandwiches. Pretty simple right? They put Italian dressing on my Caesar salad and it didn’t even have croutons… And the chicken was over cooked and rubbery. When I asked the waitress to take the salad back, she gave me a very dirty look and snatched it off the table. My brother couldn’t even eat his sandwich because it was drowning in the sauce, couldn’t even taste anything else that was on it. When the bill came, I noticed that they did not take us anything for our disgusting meals. I asked to speak to a manager, and the waitress told me that I could not, but she would handle it. They took off three dollars off my bill. I will never go there again, nor do I recommend anyone ever eating at that establishment! Should’ve went to mambos next-door!

I'm generally easy to please but Fatboys was quite a disappointing experience. it's been a tough year for businesses, so I'm posting with the hope that action can be taken. Some improvements needed - beer selection, cocktails, food quality and wait time. Our waitstaff/bartender was super friendly yet neglectful. She was chatting with people. The one other person at another table ordered a sandwich which he was still waiting for after 30 minutes. My margarita on the rocks was served without ice, tasted like bad sour mix & with a lemon. Odd. The burger was overcooked. The garlic parmesan chicken wings was served with strange flavorless sauce on them. Our request for new wings without the sauce resulted in overcooked wings with the same sauce. I appreciated the attempt but they were just bad. The website lead me to think I was going to an upscale pub. Instead we got overpriced food, lots of pumpkin drinks and no decent beers. Pleeeease make changes!

Margarita was awful, burger was so over cooked it was hard to chew, parmesan wings were disgusting. They were out of all but 2 beers. Honestly was worst dining experience I've had in years.

We went Friday with some couple friends of ours, after my wife had been prior to COVID and had a positive experience. This was much different. We were the only table there, and still had to wave over the bartender several times for assistance (she was also our server), who was often sitting at the bar chatting with some other patrons seated at the bar. Our couple friends ordered margaritas, which did not taste or appear to be margaritas, and one was completely undrinkable. One friend opted for beer instead, however, all but two taps at the bar were broke. Regarding food, the menu is promising and looks to be pub food upgraded, however, it tasted more comparable to fast food. We got garlic parmesan wings, which were doused in sauce, and tasted nothing like garlic or parmesan, which was concerning to us. Great location in downtown New London, but otherwise, no other reason to return.
Me and a few buddies went here at around 6 or 7 so it wasn't very busy. We were sat down outside next to a heater and everything seemed alright. Then 10 minutes past and we still didn't have menus, the place was dead mind you. When a waitress finally came she was friendly and we ordered some drinks to start off. Everytime drinks came there was a mixup between me and my friend... that's okay mistakes happen. We got our food and it was proportionally small for the price, and didn't really taste like anything. Not sure why everything took so long, it didn't seem like a stressful time for the staff. Overall I give it a fatman out of 5.

Tried coming here twice! Once about a month ago, and they were only doing takeout and had just closed the outdoor seating due to rain, however it wasn't raining, just a little cloudy. Then last week we came for my birthday dinner and sat down outside. We were given menus but were told the fryer was down so basically more than half their menu was unavailable so we left. We give up!

Food was good. Drinks were a bit pricey, (and prices were not listed for drinks). Had the Miami vice. Honestly just tasted like coconut rum with small hints of strawberry from time to time. Wish it was better considering the price, but the food was awesome.

Enjoyed a nice late afternoon beer on the back deck. Nice setting. Good craft beer on tap. Enjoyed a perfectly cooked medium to order burger with pork belly - delicious!! And fantastic wings with creamy garlic Parmesan sauce! The wings were fully cooked, flavorful & came out HOT! Good service - didn't get his name but super friendly & upbeat. Very disappointed. Social distancing is not really available outside. The first place on our trip we felt unsafe. Our food took forever, two sandwiches took over 35 minutes. Our chicken tasted like fish due to over used oil. Fries were limp and we had to ask for silverware after we were served. It arrived wet. It had a promising menu but the follow through was not there.
