Spent 2 hours waiting for our food. Server was good but failed to see what was going on with our main meal. Brought food home. Food was presentable. Food tasted ok. Was charged a fee for service of 18% even though we didnt even get to eat there. I Do not recommend so they can keep the 30 dollar fee.

I want to preferece by saying the food was phenomenal. My only gripe was the outlandish prices for what you are getting $45 for a snapper is insane in my opinion.

Really cute spot right here in New London! My friends and I all had the tapas bao buns with either pork belly or shrimp. The bao was fresh and soft and the pork belly was seriously 10/10. I had the Coq au van with mashed potato and it is truly the most flavorful, comforting meal I have had in a LONG time. Cocktails were on point. The staff is so welcoming and the chef came out toward the end to chat with us. Cant wait to try their brunch!!

We went for Sunday brunch , it was cold out and we hoped for a hot cup of coffee or tea...this was a challenge. Our meals were mediocre at best. Service was tolerable. Not my taste in decor or atmosphere. If you are going to use clear chairs wipe them down...smeared with finger prints. Silverware was spotted. Just not a great experience. Not some place I would return to.

We first experienced Favorites Bistro Bar at Celebrate Mystic last month and finally made it there for dinner tonight. Great atmosphere, outstanding service and the food was amazing! From the warm rolls served with honey butter, festive drink menu and friendly, attentive service, Favorites Bistro Bar does not disappoint. We started with the oxtail rangoon (incredible!) and onion soup (gratifying) and then onto the BBQ beef ribs (tender and succulent) and jerk chicken (perfectly seasoned and juicy) with black rice, flavorful collard greens and sweet plantains. The desserts, warm bread pudding and beignets with powdered sugar, were too tempting to pass up. Favorites Bistro Bar is an exceptional dining experience and we look forward to sampling the entire menu on future visits.

If you have not been to Favorites Bistro Bar in NL yet, you HAVE to go! Everything was amazing! We tried to get pics, but we ate everything too fast! From the jump, the homemade honey butter 🧈 was amazing! The corn ribs 🌽 were out of this world! Never had anything like it. The short ribs were 🔥. The rice, jerk chicken....everything! We could not find anything wrong with this restaurant

Absolutely enjoyed my first experience at Favorites Bistro Bar. We decided to travel from a hour away to try this place out for dinner. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door and was seated immediately. Our waitress Jonai was very personable, attentive and also doubled as the bartender; I must say the drinks she made were impeccable. The food was VERY flavorable and fresh. I can not wait to visit again because they did not disappoint!
