This was my first visit to Favorites. The web site had wonderful pictures of Brunch food options and stated there were bottomless mimosas. Unfortunately the food options have changed with new management. No pancakes, no avocado toast, few of the beautiful foods presented on the website are available. Water glasses are very small but a bottle of cold water is left on the table. Very nice. Coffee cups are small and refills were never offered until we were finished with our meals. Cocktails take forever and bottomless mimosas are a thing of the past. The Bistro breakfast of scrambled eggs, home fries and kielbasa was overly cooked and not something that should have left the kitchen. The shrimp and grits was very flavorful but it was served in a strait sided bowl/dish where the shrimp were obscured by the grits. Poor presentation and difficult to eat. The previous brunch menu was varied and I feel more appealing to a larger range of diners.

My husband and I met his parents for brunch and were looking for a place near the ferry. We chose Favorites Bistro Bar and it was a great experience.
We had water views on the patio. Cynthia served us and recommended the Short Rib Benedict and Creme Brulee French toast and both were fantastic. The music was great and its an awesome place to visit and have some drinks and enjoy the nice weather.

We started with the mussels as an appetizer and let me just say… LIFE-CHANGING. The sauce? Absolutely elite. Perfectly seasoned and just enough of it to aggressively dip every last piece of bread like we had no home training.
The French onion melt and the French onion soup? Top tier. Hall of Fame material. Zero notes.
And then… we finished with the crème brûlée French toast. Listen. I don’t even have the words. It was the kind of good where you take a bite and just sit there in silence for a second.
Major shoutout to the chef, the waitress, and the hostess — y’all understood the assignment. 10/10, no crumbs left behind. 👏

We loved discovering this spot! The drinks by Cynthia were great, the tostadas with pineapple salsa were divine. My husband had the Rasta Pasta and enjoyed the bold Alfredo/pepper sauce flavors. Our tiramisu was delicate and homemade. The owner May made a point of checking in with us twice. Clean, cute outdoor patio. Highly recommend!
The luxurious ambiance when you walk in matches the taste of the food and the staffs service. Favorites is a must visit on Bank st with nice deck seating aswell.

In a busy Mother’s Day the service was impeccable, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was happy and celebratory! I was treated so I don’t know about prices but no one grumbled. Head on out with your date or you family. Enjoy!

What a nice surprise this bistro is! The vibe is really cool, the staff were so friendly and the food was amazing! The menu is really unique and not overwhelming. Our party had oxtail rangoons, a smash burger and a short rib grilled cheese. The food was so flavorful and the presentation lovely. And then there was dessert... a French toast creme brulee. It was absolute perfection. Definitely a must try!
