food was wayyyy too hot it burned the roof of my mouth and my tongue now its swollen ? i had to wait 10 minutes after getting ut to be able to eat it because it was scorching hot but other than that the restaurant has okay food they just need to cook it at a lower heat

It's (for me) primarily a take out place.
I found Golden Wok in the middle 90's when they were on Bayonet St. There menu and food quality hasn't changed in that 27 years.
I moved out of New London in 2003 and I travel back to Golden Wok at least 6 or 7 times a year.
