Have to give this mixed reviews. The atmosphere is in need of a lot of updating and care. From the outside entrance needing landscaping to the inside tavern is dated and dark. There is a very small outside deck that would greatly benefit from a better view or a working water fountain.
The food is average. The crab cakes are fresh, but too many peppers; the lobster bisque is too watered down and over use of sherry; the Cesar salad was the best dish of the day fresh and lightly dressed.
The bar service is excellent! And lovely wine selection.
If they could invest in some well needed upgrades and possibly a rooftop deck this would be an amazing place for the area.
This place is absolutely amazing totally recommend! The bartender and bar area are also amazing! Robert, the person who runs it really cares about his patrons.
Don’t walk, RUN away from this restaurant! Oh boy just everything is wrong I don’t know how it has such high reviews. The building itself is a bit scary & spooky and the outside is so run down. We were the ONLY ones there for dinner. Everything in my body was like get us out of here but we stayed. I was afraid to eat the food because I thought we might get food poisoning. My chicken was definitely not safe to eat but I ate the lettuce & dressing that were fine. There were specks of other food on my daughter’s pasta and it was so expensive. The waitress was so nice but the experience was terrible. Not fancy and not what I sod call a real view of the ocean.
This is currently a restaurant as the upper floor where the guest rooms are is not yet open. The restaurant was amazing! I had the most incredible bowl of chicken chili and then pork tostadas that were delicious. My spouse had the tuna nachos and spinach salad with steak that was equally wonderful. The servings were as beautiful as they were delicious. Our server was great, attentive and helpful. The host was a lovely local woman who shared lots of interesting history about the building (incredible) and surrounding grounds. We ate in the dining room with a beautiful view of the ocean and romantic background music and peeped into the bar where there was live music and lots of folks having a good time. We highly recommend for a delicious and reasonably priced meal.
I held a baby shower at the lighthouse inn. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Food and service were great ! Highly recommend for any event
We went for lunch today, 6/3/25, and my wife and I were greeted by Robert. He was great! Robert was very friendly, but still professional, and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. The only thing better than him was the food, we both agreed probably the best we’ve ever had, in a restaurant or anywhere else! It was absolutely delicious, fresh, perfectly cooked and completely affordable! Besides that, the dining room was large and roomy, and you can see the ocean right down the road. We’ll be going back again and again!
The staff was very accommodating for our large group event. Great communication prior to the day of as we came together from all over the country. The food was excellent and the room was perfect to accommodate 30 of us.
Mothers Day brunch was wonderful. Display, variety and service was excellent. I felt like a Queen when my daughter took me there for the Mother's Day special brunch buffet. Elegant and delicious. Georgous decor l can't say enough. *****
Top notch place for a good meal. They work hard to make typical fare far better
Upscale venue holds the past dear of fine service and hospitality to a higher scale.
I highly recommend the 1902 room.
Give it a try. It earned our go to places for a friendly atmosphere and as easy place for a good meal.
I'm not sure if they have rooms anymore.
Rooms: I don't think they rent rooms anymore

I am writing to both commend and thank your staff for their kind graciousness above and beyond the call of duty. My friend and I came to the Inn on Saturday, February 23 around 2:20 pm. We desired a simple glass of wine in a beautiful and quiet place to have an important discussion. Although the Inn was closing, the bartender Robert graciously served us and the waitress welcomed us to the dining room although the kitchen had closed. It was not until we left at about 3:30 that we learned, accidentally, that the waitress, Grenis and chef, Dave, had stayed simply because we were there. We are grateful for their kindness. We were fortunate that the Inn operates in the "old way" where the guest is the highest priority. I hope you will recognize how beautifully your staff represented the Inn's values.

Hum, let me be honest with you. The portions for brunch were small yet rather tasty. I thought that there would be a buffet, however, this only occurs on holidays. The atmosphere was lovely and inviting but I was on a date from hell.....

I’ve only eaten in the restaurant, not stayed in the hotel, but the food is delicious. Not heavy or greasy, salads are fresh, everything we’ve ordered has been good. The dining room is cozy and has a lovely view towards the water. Staff has always been very pleasant. An unexpected delight hidden in a residential neighborhood.

Went for lunch and was snowing which made it a little dreamy. Fish and chips! Yum.

Went there on Saturday afternoon for lunch. Beautiful place, however it was cold and empty. We were told to pick our table by the one very unpleasant server there. Asked if she could turn on the fireplace, she said no she did not know how to turn on the gas. She then told us the bar was not open as there was no bartender available so we would not be able to have cocktails. We said we would probably leave and she responded "please do so". Apparently she did not want our business. Another couple came in as we were discussing leaving and they also left. What a shame. We went to Langley's instead and were met with a warm fireplace, cozy atmosphere and incredible, friendly service.
