Decent food, terrible service. Gave me wrong order (pick-up). Sent mine out for delivery. Asked me to drive 25 minutes to switch with the other person who got wrong order. Declined to do so and was met with attitude. No apology for wasting an hour of my time.

Better options for less. The Birria plate was 3 tacos of disappointment. BLAND BIRRIA BLAND!!! Not sure how they accomplished it, but it was greasy and yet flavorless at the same time. I don’t mind greasy tacos, but give me the flavor too. Somehow felt like the owners said “well, it’s good enough for Connecticut people. What do they know anyway?” Low quality meat plus low quality pride in their product. Like a lot of new restaurants these days, they are cutting corners in an attempt to make profits and we can taste the result. I’ll be surprised if it’s still open in a year…. Pass!Parking: Street parking only

Really good service and since my last review, there's an even better selection of drinks.I had the Huarache (thicker longer tortilla with cream beans cheese lettuce and meat.)Absolutely divine.

I ordered the “smothered burrito” more like drizzled burrito. The burrito was dry and 90% rice. The beans were cold and the empanada was way over fried. 25 dollars for disappointing food.

Very good food, it reminds me of when I was there in Mexico, good service and calm atmosphere. I ordered the carne asada nachos and some tacos for my son and they were delicious.

Their New London location just opened a few months back and my first few orders were amazing. They were even quick to correct an order they messed up so service has never been a problem for me. The last few times I have ordered their shrimp in their shrimp tacos have gotten 10 times smaller and much less shrimp than when they opened. $16.00 for 3 shrimp tacos is alot; make it worth it. The consistency of cooking style depending on which day it is varies widely. I’ve had really flavorful empanadas one day and my next order is bland and dry. I’ve spent alot of money going there but honestly it’s just not worth it anymore. Sad because the food can be really good.

Went in to try it for the first time and If I could give no starts I would. Ordered the three Cob tacos and as I open the container I look and see there is no fish in one taco and the two other tacos had a pinky size piece of fish in it being covered by a bunch of tomato and onion, for $16 this is ridiculous. I called the restaurant and the front person Alyssa hung up on me twice as I explained to her that there was no fish in it. I called to let them know that charging $16 for a taco that’s filled with tomato and onion was outrageous and you shouldn’t be selling fish tacos if you can’t afford to put any fish in it.

Wow, so glad I found this place. I'm visiting from San Diego and missed my Mexican food. After 40+ yrs of enjoying real Mexican, this was THE BEST carne asada burrito I've ever had. I know I know, who'd a thought in New London!? The flavors, umm. Tasty goat cheese and very flavorful herbs and spices and sauce and beans and rice, and the carne was grilled to perfection. Like a Mexican grandma makes for her family. It's big too, they serve it in a kind of pie plate and it takes up the whole plate, more than enough for one sitting. The place is a small take out type place but there are a dozen or so small tables and the atmosphere is old school Mex if you wish to eat there. La musica la musica! Nice people too. If you love real Mexican food, you need to eat here. Heartily recommended!

Everything you could ask for! The chorizo burrito was exploding with flavor, and my wife's carne asada was delicious, and my daughter said the quesadilla was the best she's had. We sampled the fried plantains, and I was impressed. The soup of the day was great too! Try the green salsa, you won't be disappointed. The cashier was friendly and obviously proud of their food, which really says it all. I strongly recommend this place, and we'll be back!
