Amazing food. Great service. Best for quality (and most consistent restaurant) in New London.

Food was pretty bland, meat overcooked, ramen soup was just soy sauce. For the meals to have been $18 each we are pretty disappointed in the quality. You can find better quality for less!!

Excellent food and excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly. They made a note to ask if we had any allergies at all, which was veey sweet of them to check before preparing our food. Food was fresh and delicious. Would heavily recommend going for a meal. We will be going back the next time we are in New London!

Came here on a date with my husband.
Parking is on street parallel parking but there is a parking lot a block away.
The entrance is to the right of the big entryway. .
We were immediately greeted when we walked in and were sat. The seating area is quite cozy with maybe 6 tables in total and the rest right in front of the sushi bar. You can sit outside as well.
The rolls were made tightly. Other sushi places that I've been to have rolls that fall apart easily, which is annoying. They were all tasty!

On one hand, I can’t imagine why anyone would give this place fewer than 5 stars, but on the other hand a 5-star rating feels criminal. This is THE BEST “regular” sushi place I’ve been to in the northeast. I’m not talking about Omakase-only chef’s tasting menu restaurants like O-Ya, but in the realm of approachable sushi places nothing tops Su & Sa. Found them when I needed a meal and I had 2 minutes to spare for the ferry so I ordered takeout. The staff was super helpful, expediting my order and charging my card over the phone. My order was ready and receipt laid out when I dashed in from my double-parked car. Super friendly. The quality of the fish was outstanding. I travel all over the northeast and I frequently choose sushi as a light, healthy meal on work nights. The fish quality at S^4 was better than any I can remember. I had a simple Chirashi (love the inclusion of Salmon roe!!), rainbow roll and additional salmon roe sushi. It’s hard to come up with the right superlatives because grade inflation is so prevalent among sushi joints, but the food was fantastic. The fish was incredibly fresh with a faint, citrusy aroma. Heck, even the pickled ginger and plain sushi rice were amazing. The briny, saline pops of flavor from the roe punctuated the meal. Practically perfect. The order size was proportional, but not huge. It makes sense given the quality of the food (seriously, the tuna was likely the best I’ve ever had). Next time I will FOR SURE leave enough time to dine in. The dining room looked very cozy and inviting. Definitely give it a try!!

Very clean, fresh fish and prompt service. We had sushi and ramen. Sushi was on point, but the noodles in the ramen didn't have much flavor, but the rest of the soup was delicious.

Delicious food in re-repurposed environs in perennially downtrodden New London. Quick service. Solid beverage menu. Will definitely return.

This place will not disappoint. Everything I had was amazing! The shiitake mushroom soup was so comforting, it was exactly what I needed. The sushi was fresh and flavorful and d not get me started on the kimchi pork dumplings. THEY WERE A DREAM. This has easily become one of my favorites in New London
This was our first visit. The wait staff is very nice & accommodating. We had a specialty roll, a regular roll and a duck roll, which were all delicious. We went for late lunch on Sunday so it was not crowded. They have an extensive sushi menu but also some noodle dishes and apps. Definitely will be back to try them.
