The Spice Palette Indian Cuisine

The spice palette is very welcoming, great customer service, staff patient with menu questions and suggestions. Our dinner was selected from the vegetarian/vegan menu and did not disappoint. Portion size is perfect as we like options. Also great for sharing. Our selections easily fed 4. half of our dinner was taken home as it was too delicious to leave behind. We say the BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT in new London .

Perfect dining experience, from start to finish. My daughter and I had cocktails, appetizers, soup, and entrees. Each item was customized to our preferred degree of spiciness. Gluten-free options are abundant. Staff is helpful with suggestions, always attentive, and never rushed us. Comfortable dining room with music that doesn't overpower conversation. If we lived in CT we would be back all the time!

This is our new favorite shoreline Indian food. Every dish we bordered came out hot and delicious. The service is always good. The ambiance was lovely.

TDLR: The food for take out was subpar to what was served 2 months ago while dining in.

2 months ago, my girlfriend and I went to this Restaurant out of curiosity and it was amazing. We ordered the chicken tika masala, lamb berriani, lentil soup, a lamb rice dish, garlic naan and a icecream/dessert. Everything tasted amazing in the Restaraunt.

A month later we ordered delivery and it did not taste close to what we had during dine in and thought it was a fluke.

Fast forward to today, we decided to order take out today and what we ordered tasted different. However I do know that takeout will never be the same experience but the garlic naan came soggy (we ate it right away ~3 minute drive) and the lentil soup was subpar.

Excellent service, food was delicious, and the dining room is clean and cozy. Definitely will be coming back here. Slightly expensive but it’s not a problem for the experience I had.

By far my favorite restaurant. Both the food and service are incredible, and the dining room is fabulous with a tastefully designed dome ceiling. We recently had a table of 8 and everyone was blown away by the presentation of dishes that can be bland-looking out of the kitchen in most Indian restaurants. Being vegetarian, good restaurants with lots of veg dishes are hard to find. The Spice Palette has exceeded what I have come to expect in dining out, and the staff is so nice!!!

A truly beautiful experience! The music, atmosphere, and ambience created the perfect setting. The food was absolutely incredible—authentic, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The staff’s attentiveness was remarkable; I mentioned my preference for dessert without raisins, and they went above and beyond to customize it for me. Such thoughtful service made the visit even more special. I can’t wait to come back! :)

This restaurant is a true hidden gem, offering exceptional Indian cuisine, arguably the best in the USA. The quality of the food is outstanding, with every dish tasting superb.

The menu features an extensive selection of both North and South Indian delicacies. Service here is top-notch; despite our arrival 20 minutes before closing, we were warmly welcomed, and our order was prepared swiftly. Overall, I highly recommend this establishment.

Vegetarian options: There's a large selection of vegetarian options. The malai kofta, Roti and Laccha paratha were great!

Parking: There's lot of parking towards the side and the back of the restaurant.
