The vibes of the low light is prime for romantic dinners with your significant other, the food is always on point and the top of the servers is Jerry, for those who’ve been before they know how great of a server he is, I’ve always requested him every time I’ve gone, unfortunately he doesn’t work there anymore but I’m sure he’s left the younger servers with the blueprint to be the best.

I think that the pictures posted online don't do this restaurant any justice, including the ones I posted. This may have to do with a very dim ambiance. That being said, Tony Ds was incredibly delicious, and our waiter was very attentive. We had a wonderful meal. Highly recommend and look forward to going

Tony D’Souza has always been my go to restaurant but today Saturday February 24 for lunch I ordered linguine and clams that had way too much salt! I should have sent it back.

We visited Tony D's while traveling to Connecticut College and many people suggested Tony D's. We are glad we went. We had chicken genovese which was a nice portion with delicious homemade linguini. We also had veal parmigiana and that also was amazing! I must admit I was disappointed that the server did not give me a container to keep the bottle of white wine cold but gave the table next to us a container to keep their Perrier cold. I did request a container and was told they didn't have left. The food was delicious! The restaurant was crowded but it was not too loud.

Just rolled in to town from a cross country road trip to visit my son at the Groton Naval Base. A quick Google search lead us to Tony D's and it did not disappoint. Focaccia starter with olive oil/tamponade and caesar salad was on point. Our lovely server recommended the Chicken Ornella which I happily polished off. My son had the truffle pasta and it was also delicious. If you're in town this place is the move!

My wife and I went for our 50th wedding anniversary. The place was jammed packed. Our waitress came over and we ordered two glasses of champagne, our appetizers and main course. We were half way through with our appetizers and my wife's main course came out. We told the waitress we were not ready, that it was our 50th anniversary and we didn't want to be rushed. She hovered around in the background, and as soon as we took our last bites they plopped my wife's food down. Ten minutes later I was still waiting for my meal. Our waitress was nowhere to be seen so I called over another waiter and he said he'd get my food. Waited another 10 minutes and got my meal as my wife was finishing hers. No one had asked for a wine order so I had to flag down our original waitress. Then I noticed other tables being served a large house salad. I asked the waiter who had finally brought my main course if a salad came with our meals. He said it did but that the kitchen had messed up our order. He said he would be happy to wrap us up take homes for the salads and we declined. I told the waiter that the restaurant had completely destroyed our anniversary dinner and we were very disappointed. In a few minutes another waitress came and said the kitchen manager would comp us our wines. I told her I would like to speak to him. She left and we waited. She came back to inform us the manager didn't want to come out. We paid and as we were leaving I ran into the manager yelling at some kitchen staff as he barged out into the hallway from the kitchen. I stopped him and asked why he had declined to come and talk to us. He said the waitress was upset, and he couldn't be bothered with this bull...t. I told him he was a coward, and his final words were "Write a letter to the Day Newspaper". That whole meal should have been comped with an apology. Needless to say we won't be back.

This is going to be long, but nothing but the truth. So we made reservations for Saturday at 4 pm for a birthday dinner for my friend Pam.Walking in we sat at the bar and had chocolate martinis that Travis made (which was his birthday alsoHappy birthday Travis)So delicious. After drinks he offered a glass of water.which helped cleanse a bit.Brought to our table which was very comfortable.Greeted by Tiana whom was so pleasant. We started with antipasto for 2 and 3 colossal shrimp.Basket of breads with olive oil and roasted garlic. All was so delicious and we were getting full but onto main coarseI went for a stuffed veal tomahawk chop 16 Oz (lol)With potatoe croquet and mix vegetables. It was cooked perfectly and so tender with the perfect touch of flavor and spices.Melt in your mouth meal I honestly did not want to swallow the taste from my mouth.Pam had eggplant on top of a chicken filet and a bed of pasta.Absolutely delicious.Yes food went home.If I could give it 10 stars I absolutely would. The place was so cleanThe staff was on there toesThe smiles on there faces and the kindness go hand and hand.Bravo to the owner you should be so proud to have such A1 establishment.Reviews to me are everything when deciding on places you have never been too.The Reviews were wonderful and I am so happy and grateful that I get to give you a review of such an amazing place to dine.Thank you for making Pams birthday a wonderful one.

Excellent ambience, okay service, great food. My one big reason for dinging the place was that we had to witness/be part of a non-stop parade of very loud, enthusiastic/bordering on obnoxious throng of people making their way to a private event in the back somewhere. I later realized that there was a door to the outside that COULD have been opened and reserved for this group, but it he establishment instead forced their diners to be curbside for a parade. For what was supposed to be a quiet, enjoyable special event for my wife and I, it got swallowed up by being interrupted, jostled and intruded upon. Again, the food and ambience outside of what I described were great, but that was excruciating to endure.
