This was a really great dining out date night , the presentation of the food was beautiful. They sat us at the prep bar area an with it gave us a FREE radish type salad that we had never tasted ..it hot the spot .. they made what is a very rear night out for us very special an friendly outgoing service ! We will an have eaten there many times since !!

Great food at a really good price their lunch box which is more than enough for one person is only 11$ regardless of what entire you want the staff is very friendly and the restaurant has a very professional atmosphere I love taking my grandma to lunch at this place 5/5

Used to deliver for this restaurant. Had problems, do to third party deliveries, which were not under the restaurant's control and understanding. Do how ever enjoy sushi. And between delivering from every sushi place in mid western ct, from New Milford, Brookfield, New Fairfield, Danbury and ridgefeild, as well as other places throughout ct, ny and Florida. This has the best selection of sushi in my opinion. And been to over 20 restaurant's. Will say. No matter what sushi pace I have been. Its usually fresh and rolled well. Some time and days better than others, and notice betterqualitywith better tipping. But I like the choices they have compared to other restaurants. As well as there fresh wasabi.

But if you do plan on having a driver delivering. As a driver. Please tip well. As sushi restaurant's take their time to make sure food is prepared properly and fresh.

My friend and I had lunch today here. Yokohama Restaurant is wonderful. The food is delicious, the wait staff courteous and friendly, the prices are very reasonable and the restaurant is casual with nice background music. It is not a fancy place at all, but that didn't matter to us. We shared the steamed vegetable dumplings which were delicate and delicious, the fried calamities which was very crunchy with large pieces of squid and the best I've ever had. We each got a box lunch which is $15 and includes 3 shumai, 4 pieces of California roll with wasabi and pickled ginger, white rice and the main event - mine being the shrimp tempera included 2 huge shrimp and vegetables tempera. My friend had the chicken teriyaki box lunch and both were delicious. And somehow we decided to get dessert, and split the mango-raspberry sorbet which was lovely. We will definitely return to Yokohama!!!
