⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth The Drive From Anywhere. Quality Food, Service , Price and whatever else You may be looking for. Went Back For The Second Time as The First Time I Was Very Impressed! The First Sandwich I Had Was The Noahs Arc which was Full of Substance. Today I Had the pleasure of a Breakfast Sandwich and a Grinder for Work. Definitely Recommend & Return. There is a Wide Variety of FRESH Food & Take Home Meals. Something 4 Everyone.

I went here for the first time last week. Breakfast sandwich was phenomenal. Went back at the bear amazing. . Usually don’t complain, but order a bacon, egg and cheese was gonna get it made. Fresh didn’t have bacon. The eggs were half raw didn’t notice that’s what halfway through the sandwich. Even went in to tell the girl that it didn’t have bacon. She seemed like she didn’t care. I never felt like a business just didn’t want my business in Newington until today smh . All I asked for was what I paid for which I didn’t get a half cooked egg sandwich with no bacon and a person that really didn’t care . My business will be taken elsewhere.’

Food was great but the 1 girl at the counter did not listen when she took my order and no toppings were put on. When I asked to have them added I got a total attitude like I was bothering her. When I was given the sandwich back I said thank you and she pretty much just tossed it on the counter and walked away. Everyone has bad days and guess it was her day but still not very professional.

The service here was perfect. I was greeted by both girls who were super nice and friendly. They also gave me a cookie at the end for it being my first time it definitely made my day I will for sure be back to Italian gourmet deli and catering!

Always on the hunt for a local deli that can make some really meaty and juicy subs/grinders/hoagies and I stumbled upon Italian Gourmet Deli (not on socials). I was hesitant to go because of some reviews complaining about their customer service, but some of the photo shared looked enticing enough for me to put that aside.

I arrived during a busy lunch, rush, luckily, I ordered ahead. As soon as I walk through the door, the lady behind the counter as busy as they were looked up and addressed me directly and kindly. I was also greeted with a smile and offered to help from the owner, which immediately put me at ease. Customer service ✅

The owner was so excited that it was my first time there that he threw some additional chicken cutlets my way, which is literally my love language 🙌🏼.

When we got home, we eagerly opened everything up and dove right in. The Italian sandwich was probably the most flavorful however I would’ve loved to have some sort of ham or turkey in there. The salad also hit the spot with the crispy chicken cutlet, which is probably one of my favorite meals. The chicken cutlet overall was good but I’ve had better but didn’t land so well was a cheesesteak. It was subpar not hearty, Kind of dry. I also ordered hashbrowns which were overcooked and inedible.

Overall, I would give this place a 3 out of 5. A place to put on our radar, but not one that I would rush back to. The local grinder search continues!
