My daughter and I are from Massachusetts and get food from here when we’re in the area. Everything is amazing and the people who work there are so nice. Our favorite place for jollof rice and vegetable stew
The food was good, the flavor is light (not too spicy or too aromatic) which makes it palatable to different people’s tastes. People seem to do a lot of takeout here so there were lots of pick up. The staff were friendly and service was fast.

The restaurant has no character to it, it’s dark and bland, the woman at the counter was very rude! She was on the phone while I waited to order and when she hung up she didn’t greet me, I ordered my food and was told I had to wait. When I returned to the counter to see if the food was ready she placed the food on the counter and turned to walk away! I wasn’t sure if the food was mine since another customer was standing there and she placed the food in front of them! Very rude..she didn’t even say thank you! Never again will I visit this place again for OVER PRICED gross food with HORRIBLE service!

First off, I love, love love Anu!!! And second the food is amazing. Today I had fufu and egusi with beef. A meat pie and a plantain dumpling. I smack my fufu and eat with my hands....2nd visit and will be back. They make fresh bread too!!

The Jelloff rice was absolutely disgusting; it was like eating canned tomato sauce mixed with rice. I was extremely disappointed. I, myself, as an American, make Jelloff rice better by following a YouTube video. I had Jelloff one other time from a location in East Hartford, and it tasted similar to what I ate when I visited Ghana and what my Ghanaian friend makes on occasion. This was not about Ghana vs. Nigeria; it was about how this dish tasted just like canned tomato sauce mixed with rice.

The food was good, and the staff was very friendly, but way over priced. My husband likes African food i do not, so he ate but I did not. The bill was 78.00.

The Egusi was extremely watery, which I’ve never experienced before. In addition, I don’t understand why meat has to be purchased separately, this is the U.S., where customers generally expect protein to be included with their meal. Charging extra for basic additions feels stingy and takes away from the value. Lastly, the fried rice had an off taste, almost like it was made with something artificial. Overall, I was disappointed and hope improvements are made to both quality and portioning.

Very disappointed.
I ordered food from this place and there's always something wrong with my order and when I call to talk to any employee about this matter I get attitude and rudeness I will never order from this place again and the bowl is basically empty so not worth the money your paying don't eat here trust
I didn’t enjoy it. I’m from the South and the African/Nigeran food there tastes authentic. I ordered pepper soup and I’m used to seeing tripe, other beef, etc. They made my food in like 15 minutes. Where I’m from it takes about 40 minutes for my food and it tastes fresh. Just my opinion.

Sooooooo good. Haven’t been in person, but when I order from DoorDash it is still steaming hot, very filling and amazing pricing. This is my first time trying fufu and egusi and I’ve ordered almost every other day since then.
My God!! The amala and gbegiri and ewedu here better pass Amala Shitta in Lagos. I live in NY and I thought NY got the best African food until I exited on the highway to NY from Boston to discover this Award Winning Amala!!.
Always good. Can't wait for it to get cold again outside so I can have more pepper soup.
The food is great one of the better food I’ve eaten outside of Nigeria very authentic and full of flavor but they need to review the pricing this is a suggestion to owner I’m not telling you how to run your business but you cannot charge a customer $3 for one piece of protein that’s totally insane make your portion and charge for whatever the portion is it’s very frustrating ordering having to pay $3 to add each extra piece of meat. For who doesn’t know if the meal is $12 it comes with one piece of goat you will pay $3 to add another piece of goat meat so if u wanted 4 pieces your meal will then be $24 it just don’t make much sense. Makes ordering very difficult.
We walked in today and was not impressed at all! The music was like a night club, very Loud not like a restaurant type setting at all. Then we walked up to the counter and the girl just walked away. Didn't even say a word. Just walked away. We looked at the menu for a few minutes thinking she would come back.. and nope!
This was the worst service and experience I've encountered in a very long time. We couldn't even order because there was no one to take the order! So we left and went somewhere else. Not impressed with any thing at all and will not be returning to actually try the food.
